I went past F+F in Waukesha last night, and they did not have any sort of sign in the outer or inner entrance doors. I don't know where else they could post it and expect people to see it. I haven't read this entire thread but I wonder if they only posted it at the store in Milwaukee for some reason?

I stopped by the Janesville store where corporate is located last wednesday. I asked to speak to the manager and an asst. manager came out and we spoke briefly.

I just wanted a face to face confirmation that they do not allow any type of firearm carry in their stores. I got it, shook Barry's hand and thanked him for his time. There was one sign on all the entrance/exit doors about customer safety.

For everyone's safety
The use of roller shoes (heelys)
is not allowed in our store

The sign had a picture of a shoe with a wheel on the sole with the common red circle/slash through it.l

I went to the Waukesha store today and I did not see any signs related to weapons/firearms.

That's the only sign I saw as well at the Waukesha F&F.

I would imagine at this point no news is bad news. The chatter on the Face Book page has almost stopped. Now might be a good time to remind F&F that they have customers waiting to shop there. A good time to remind them that overwhelmingly most stores in this state follow state law reguarding OC. The anti's have let up so this might be productive and polite round two. We will be easy to ignore if we don't keep on reminding F&F that we are here.

+1 and a bump to this thread. I can imagine that they have been able to "take it before the board" already. Nik - how about a follow up call?

It seems Nik (WCI Chairman) received a call back from them saying they are going to keep their no carry policy.

It's official...darn shame too. Wonder how they plan on stopping it when Concealed Carry passes. I bet that policy will be ignored by many.

Please leave any form of self protection at the door. But also, please feel free to bring your hard earned money in, so we can build a new store that will also not respect your rights. Thanks for your cash, now don't let the door hit ya in the ass on your way out.

I won't ignore it. They are dead to me. I can't give my hard earned money to a place that doesn't at least respect my rights.

Respect their right as a property owner to make this decision. Keep out of their stores.

Let family members and friends know that Farm and Fleet does not believe that their customers have a self-defense right in their stores. Remind them of it at Christmas time by telling them that you would prefer any gifts for you not be purchased at Farm and Fleet.

Let firearm rights and hunting organizations know that Farm and Fleet likes to make money off of them but does not believe in the exercise of the 2nd Admendment on their property. Do this every year at the start of small game season and again at the start of the traditional deer hunt.
