Farm and Fleet doesn't exist to me anymore

It's not that easy for me. When I was a little boy living in Hallie, I would go there to spend my chore money on such things as 4x4 Stomper trucks. I have shopped there my whole life.

It's not easy, but I won't spend another penny at Farm n Fleet.

I am still dunbfounded as hell about this. I still can't wrap my head around it. I can carry at Kohl's, Verizon, Kwik Trip, etc, but not at Farm-n-Fleet????????.

WTF are they thinking?

I guess the Blains have no problem creating a private gun free zone, providing the ideal environment for a mass shooting (pray that there will never be one):

Quote from the following:

http://freestudents.blogspot.com/2007/02/gun-free-zones-and-mass-shootings.html

Quote:

"If you want to kill a large number of people you really don’t want them shooting back at you. Even if you are intent on dying their action can prevent you from accomplishing your goal. If mass killing is your goal you want your victims to be unarmed. And if you want unarmed victims then you are attracted to a “gun free zone” of one kind or another.

So to accomplish your goal you are looking for several things. One is to find a crowded location. You can’t kill lots of people if there aren’t lots of people. You need a confined space. Otherwise your targets can escape too easily. And you want people who are unarmed."

As Mr. Nugent says:

It's official...darn shame too. Wonder how they plan on stopping it when Concealed Carry passes. I bet that policy will be ignored by many.

It is my hope that no one ignores their policy, that seens as hypocritical as their no guns policy. Why would anyone suport a store that sells ammo and sporting goods but dosen't suport their right to carry that ammo?
I will NOT shop their and will do my best to tell everyone of their hypocrisy.

I have started sending F&F a copy of my receipts when appropriate. I will not let up. They are wrong and it would be great if everyone else began sending a copy of receipts to.

The more they are reminded of money spent elsewhere, the more it is possible to change their mind.

They are dead to me as well. Never again.

How do you send things to the dead?

time to plan a day long Picket infront of their store ? Maybe educate the public

With a follow-up at the start of hunting season. The Iowa firearm rights organizations should be requested to do the same at Iowa stores. Anyone with an out of state carry permit can carry there. Maybe we can get some interstate cooperation out of this.

Probably would be best to have a moving rally from store to store on different weekends. Will increase awareness statewide. It would also be a nice social event for WCI members.

I was thinking a picket line would be a good idea too. Just don't carry at the madison store, cause they they'll claim you were creating a disturbance with a firearm!

If you aren't on their property, then they can't claim anything. ;)

The madison police will claim anything. If a driver stops in the parking lot enterance to ask whats going on, the police could claim we were blocking traffic, and other assorted BS that we didn't do, if we carry while doing this. I'd rather see them get slapped silly in the courts over the madison 5 first.

If there's a picket, you stay on the public sidewalk, don't enter the parking lot, don't block traffic, be polite, pick up any flyers you hand out that get tossed (w/o entering parking lot).
