Waiting for the mail man... I turned mine in at the capitol around 8am Tuesday... I can hope...

I personally witnessed Mlutz turning his in at the capitol. Also, saw them take it out of the bin and put it into the "mental evaluation" stack while whispering something about a pink shirt under their breath.

I guess there isn't much anyone can do with a permit number, the Internets scares me sometimes :uhoh:.
No one posted the back yet so here it is.

Same exact size and thickness as a drivers license. Shiny plastic with the same super thin sticker/laminate over just the front to protect the writing, just no holograms or watermarks.

Hmmmmm.....are these things legit without an official signature??? :p

FYI

PA is a paper license with no photo (many on the East Coast add a photo and laminate the permit) Any idiot with a scanner can counterfeit this one, although LEOs do call in to have the permit number verified against the name of the carrier.

As of May this year PA has switched to a "laminated paper" license the size of a credit card with pic.

If that is the case, text does not come out real well, especially if you do not know the person. :(

I was just saying your college ID was $5 because they were charging you for the ID and we the tax payers subsidize the labor and equipment to process it…. That’s the way it works at the college I work at.

Hey, Congrats!

It's a good feeling isn't it? Can't wait to put my letter and card in a frame once Constitutional Carry is passed.

p.s. My number is waaaaaaaay lower than yours. Mine is -3!

Yay! Got mine today. The number is still way below 50. The license is also still dated November 1st.

Great news! I was thinking I might buy a replacement permit later just so I can keep the one with the issue date 11-1-2011 clean and intact, to put with the rest of my "carry" memorabilia to show the kids I don't have yet. Dorky I know.
