I'll save the counting of my chickens until after they hatch.

Reading the actual definition of Handgun in Statute, I scheduled my appointment. ;-)

In 2008, NRA gave Fasano an "A+". Of course, they also gave Bogdanoff an "A+". Some serious grade inflation on the latter.

They gave Detert an "A".

Sen. Fasano is on record as supporting Open Carry. Contacted him even before the bills were filed.

Well then It amazes me. That they DON'T understand that the majority of the people/voters want this bill to pass and that We The People will vote against them if it fails.
Concealed Carriers = We The people out number the anti's. and that this is are right. I wish I had the money for legal fees to just Open Carry regardless of what the legislators say if this bill fails and take this to the Supreme Court after being arrested and making them change the law, because it is are Constitutional Right and we need to demand it as so and stop pussyfoot-en around.

Also why is it that it keeps getting overlook when the LEO keep stating that Tourist won't come to Florida because we would be carrying gun's openly. But NOBODY is rebutting that statement with "The tourist will still come here because it is a norm from their own personal state" because most likely they come from a State that already has Open Carry and find nothing wrong with it."

We've stated that quite a bit. Most recently in the testimony offered by Ryan at the Rules committee meeting.

They now actually say tourist from other countries.

Yeah, well, there are plenty of countries without a RTKBA that they can visit instead, so they don't need to feel so insecure about living in an oppressive country. I don't mind losing their business if they disapprove of my freedoms.

Read the OP, it is rebutted there.

I've met plenty of foreign tourists at the gun range. Coming to America from an oppressed nation and NOT shooting is like going to a whorehouse for a good night's sleep.... Kinda misses the point.

I like that, I might use it with the Senators. Well, the PG Version.

It's been my experience that foreign tourists are fascinated that we're "allowed" to have guns and wish they could carry them.

As the non-pg version would suggest; wear it out!

I moved Fasano. OP updated again. Warrants a re-read.

I wouldn't call anything 'confirmed.' None of this was compiled from an actual response since the Bill left committees. None of them are talking. It is 100% "educated speculation" based on their past actions and attitudes. I would NOT bank on it. While my crystal ball is almost never wrong, it's still a crystal ball...

Oelrich and Dean will definitely vote against. The others might be convinced to abstain. Maybe.

That makes it 20 Yeas, 3 ???s, and 17 Nays. Hopefully someone can confirm one ??? as a Yea, or one Nay to abstain in the floor vote and it should be good, right?

I've accepted it will be too close to call until the votes are in. That said it's going to be tough for the neocon/liberal coalition to get more votes than pro liberty votes.
