So Wi
I was given the 10,000 number by the person that answered the phone at the DOJ office. Mine was in the PO box at 6:30 on the 1st and I haven't received anything and my check hasn't been cashed. I did what we were supposed to do. Was it just for publicity and good press sending out the ones that were turned in at the office? Next time maybe I'll go for the special treatment. Glad some of you have gotten yours, but I'm just wondering.

I waited 48 days for my license here and that was just a county thing.

I have never carried concealed since , go figure, I carry every day.

so celebrate

Wow, I thought that video of me dancing at my high school prom was long since forgotten...

It does bring back some fond memories....

Where are the numbers being published? There really shouldn't have been any significant down time on Wednesday as a pile of applications were waiting for them when the post office opened and someone should have been there to get them shortly after.

Agreed. I'm waiting intently for the first "mailed in" application to get turned around, THEN I'll start getting antsy...

Thank you my friend for your kind words, but you are mistaken. As a former WI resident and now a UT resident my emails and letters to WI legislators (as a former WI resident) had no weight because I can no longer vote in Wisconsin. (I pay property taxes in WI, but have no vote.) No - it is your actions, those of WI Carry - those of Nik, Paul F, MKEgal, McX, and those of countless other WI CARRY members that deserve the credit and the glory for this momentous event in Wisconsin History.

Having said that, I am proud that my unsubstantial contribution has led to my students receiving their "permission slips" from UT and from WI and I look forward to being able to contribute even more to the training needs of my former neighbors.

Yellow Cat Out -

No tripple-digiters allowed.:p:lol:

That's funny, blew coffee out my nose :p:shocker::rolleyes:

don't know if we have any single digits yet, lowest so far was brokensprocket at #14 I think. Oh and Handy at -3 but I'm going to wait for the pic

I would have place money that the first hundred or so were already spoken for by "insiders", I can't believe I was wrong.

#69 was definitely the coveted one!
I would have liked 38 cause I'm special.
223, 308 or 556 would be cool too

Anyone else find the irony that the first batch of permits went to a group of people who despise permission slips and on a whole will probably carry openly anyway?

Think of ALL the pickup lines! Heck, I wouldn't even carry a "firearm". Likely, none of the lines would bear fruit, so to speak; but just using them is worth the price of admission.

No doubt! Just ask Mlutz, Paul, or Oliver how I felt about the supreme court gallery..............not to mention getting permission to exercise a right.

The minute I got my permit I texted my girlfriend that it came, I was pretty excited.

She texted back "awesome! How does it feel"

My reply even while being super pumped I got my permit back in lightning speed, knowing I was going to be the first to tell every one they are coming

"Like im a subject and need permission to exercise my god given right:("
