So... I called UT BCI and they said the permit was mailed 10/31, so, it shouldn't be a background check issue. I will see if I get BOTH today....

This ain't anything other that a TROPHY for me. (a trophy that lets me step on my sidewalk) It will be mounted on the wall with the accompanying DOJ letter and envelope when we pass Constitutional Carry.

Do you mind letting me know when you sent in your UT app? Mine was mailed 9/2 and they charged my account on 9/15 and I am also still waiting. At the time I was told they were taking about 44 days. I was intending to use my UT permit as proof of training for WI. I haven't called them yet. I guess it would be nice to get them both the same day....
