I went to grade school in Oconomowoc and I go out there drinking with friends once at least once a month. I guess we all need to be unarmed...oh wait, criminals don't care!

Here is another one where we don't need a gun.

The boyfriend beat his girlfriend and then stuffed her in the trunk. I'm sure when he drove, he unloaded his firearm and kept it "out of reach" too. :quirky

Two robbers get cash but leave behind their faces on surveillance video. MILWAUKEE--Police are looking for two robbers who burst into a video game store on Brown Deer Road with a gun at 3 pm Tuesday.
Store surveillance captured the crime, as one man pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded money while the other went behind the counter and took cash out of the register -- before both ran out.
"To get some Christmas money more than likely, get something for their kids or something," speculated customer Michael White, adding: "that's no excuse for it."
Police say the two suspects had been in the store about a half hour before the robbery, looking around as if they were customers but likely checking it out and waiting until the large crowd of shoppers dissipated.
"Thankfully no one got hurt," commented White.
An employee says yesterday's armed robbery is the third time the Game Stop on Brown Deer Road has been hit.
Employees say the crime didn't sway any workers from showing up for their shift, and shoppers say it didn't affect their opinion that the area is safe.
Employees say they feel safe, because of beefed up police patrols and security guards, as well as many hidden cameras in the store.
Police hope someone will recognize the faces on the surveillance video and contact them.
You can call 414-935-7360 if you have any information.
I'm glad no one was hurt.

I'm surprised they've been robbed 3 times and people still feel safe. Extra patrols don't mean squat when someone is going to put a gun in your face and pull the trigger. I'd like to see these security guards. I think I'm going to visit this Game Stop.

RACINE - Police arrested two men for robbing a Journal Times newspaper carrier early Tuesday morning on the north side.

Police spokesman Sgt. Bernie Kupper said the 59-year-old carrier was out delivering newspapers around 5:19 a.m. Tuesday. He was walking toward his car in the 3400 block of Third Avenue when he saw two men running toward him.

The carrier got into his car, but before he could pull away, Miller and Thompkins allegedly opened the door and pulled the victim out. Kupper said they began punching the carrier and demanding money from him.
And this is the SAME paper that reported the garbage about one of our own just a few months ago. I guess the paper should start encouraging their delivery people to start exercising their rights protected by Article 1, Section 25 instead of attacking those who do.

and there's nothing wrong in society when the lowly pizza delivery guy, the newspaper carrier, even they are getting violently victimized. the same society that cowers at the sight of an open carrier?!
