Vermont isn't true CC either, because certain hearing-saving attachments are banned from the entire state, and some "public property" places are off limits for carry.
Thanks. Good to know.

Well folks, I now have absolutely no idea how this is going to turn out or the next steps. HB 910 was just referred to the Senate State Affairs Committee a day after SB 17 went to the House Homeland Security & Public Safety Committee.
Am I wrong in assuming this means SB17 is dead/not going forward?*UPDATE*
Public hearing scheduled Monday morning 05/18/15 for HB 910 with the Senate State Affairs committee:

Also would be interested if someone will attend and make a general statement to make it constitutional carry in the future etc...
(i do like that we are at least getting something though)
I had a thought, scary, I know but....CATI Texas, iirc, has said they will be on the steps of the capitol Sept 1 ready and willing to OC either in celebration or protest. Assuming OC passes and goes into effect on Jan 1 as planned, will they proceed as planned or reschedule?
I'll try to find the article I read that said they were using modern firearms. Then again, maybe the plan was to have a good mix and see how many real guns slip thru the cracks. If your understanding is correct, the best way to maximize that number would be to make sure the crowd keeps moving at all times.
Welcome to Texas insider baseball: "chubbing" is the word of the day.
Any bill that hasn't passed both chambers as amended and been placed on the calendar by May 1, is dead in the water. This is the time of every session where bills get "passed", with much publicity, so that politicians can brag that they voted for a bill, with zero chance that it will actually become law.
Gee, thanks for the encouraging news, we will see what happensWelcome to Texas insider baseball: "chubbing" is the word of the day.
