I honestly hve to say I do use "sir/ma'am" to everyone I meet, other then friends and people I know well enough. However people do respond to it much better, and "open up" to you more. Since I am 18 and into some of the more..punk/goth things, I get seen as a punk kid (I do not have 100 percings, or tatoos..and the black hair/liquid paper white face is personly creepy to me..i just like the music and love my combat boots) Normaly when I go up to people they treat me like a teen, but after talking with me they Treat me like an adult. I think once people see that you are nice, they are willing to be more open to the idea of OC.
