We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. My original "Chinese" contribution was a Firefly reference, and also I think a suitable punishment for those in Henrico responsible for this debacle – so long as it's public.

The original quote was in Chinese (bad Chinese at that). Rarely does such a perfect opportunity present itself.

NOW I see it - you were editing while I was quoting, before you edited what I didn't see until after you had edited it. It showed up on my quote box, but was not visible on the original. First time that has ever happened to me.

The Virginia COurt System website says the court date is set. Do we plan on having a significant open carry event in the vicinity of the courthouse, and do we plan on attending the hearing with empty holsters?

There will be a number of things that will be done both as a show of support, to raise awareness and funds. What these will all be has not been officially set at this time, but be assured that nothing shall be done that will hurt Scouser or his defense - everything will be vented through Mr. Hawes first.
I think that we can expect a call similar to chapter 1 in the Ferry Tale/Surry.

Please anyone that reviews the publicly available information, do not show Scouser's personal information here. While I have those documents, I have chosen to not post them at this time.
I'm sure Dan Hawes will vent.
He will also vett* any proposals/plans that are put to him for consideration. It would probably be seen as a courtesy if anybody not a member of The Central Committee** with a plan/idea/notion to do anything publically would run it by Dan first. (Anybody remember the response to "Your Honor, there are men with guns in front of the courthouse!"? Takes strategy to pull off something like that.)

Neither Dan nor Scouser appointed people to and body for any purpose. I'm not sure that Dan, Scouser, or the other members even like/approve of my using the term.
Yep that too. Was thinking of "vent" as in to relieve pressure, to vent off - was being foot loose and [strike]fancy[/strike] free with meaning.
Central Committee has a certain poetic injustice to it; effective though - simply that we are friends of Scouser. Less formal than friend of the court and do not share the table before the bar, but have a loyalty that rivals those of the round table and the king's musketeers.
