Yeah thanks, we've been going over that already. Welcome to the disscussion. Whatever a Bellvue Patch is...
Now to get over who has what source, bottom line question is: IS IT ALL TRUE? I didn't hear anything else from GoGo in terms of this, and the Foia's are being slow as hell. Someone have ANYTHING with CREDIBLE proof?
an actual source said:Bellevue Police spokeswoman Officer Carla Iafrate said that it appeared to be a planned suicide and no one else was injured. The King County Medical Examiner confirmed that the 50-year-old man killed himself with a handgun.

A man who told Patch that he witnessed the event said the man shot himself in front of all the other participants during the practice portion of the class at the range, when participants were handling the firearms
I hate to say it because I usually like to give folks the benefit of the doubt, but so far all we really have is a couple brand new posters supporting each other making a very dramatic claim. Now as "proof" we have an article in a paper with questionable credibility referencing what "a man" called and told them. As far as I can tell, you or I could call and make up a story ourselves. This is why I'm looking forward to the FOIA paperwork. That way none of us are counting on less than credible sources, or self citing each other.
So at this point there are no liars, just a questionable story still needing validation. And it's ok if that takes some time. Not everything needs to be instantaneous. For now, to the new guys, I would recommend spending you time and energy dealing with what you have to with you family and yourself(don't try to play the tough guy, get help if you need it)
Keep in mind that we know that the president is currently paying people to do exactly what some of these members have accused you of. So if you know that you're telling the truth, be patient and wait for the FOIA documents to prove your story. It's not like you have anything to lose on here, it's just an internet forum after all.

Well the Patch Article cites Bellevue Police Officer Carla Iafrate, Who is listed as the department's public information officer with an official phone extension and email on the department's website (bottom of linked page) so I think it should be easy enough for me to confirm the patch's source, I'll call her later this morning during business hours. since about 15 forum members have met me in person *I* should be trustworthy and believable as a source!
Nope, I'm pretty sure you're obama in disguise!

did any thought go to the reason this situation might be blacked out is because of 'who' allegedly committed suicide and their status in the community or political arena ?
any unaccounted for politicians or social big wigs ?
and kudos for spending > 130 posts on the subject that may or may not have occurred...
truly quite impressive...

Me too. I tuned in late and noticed that this thread is growing faster than the weeds in my front lawn.
Happened Sunday, right? Well, here it is Thursday and I haven't seen a single report on TV or in the newspapers (Real ones that is).
You'd think that with all the uproar over guns and gun safety that some TV Station of major news paper would be all over this like "stink on a full baby diaper".
Damn, and I'm out of popcorn.
This is an awesome thread. More discussion on who should be believed and who is credible, and I still don't know if this really happened or not. That's what I love most about OCDO. You can ask a simple yes or no question and you will get links, quotes, laws, miles and miles of threads but never a direct answer.
