Suicide at West Coast Armory in Bellevue?

Update

Just hung up the phone after talking to Xxx, a manager at the Bellevue location.

Identified myself and the purpose of my call - gave him the opportunity to say he could not discuss my query (specifically a recent gun shot suicide) or to categorically deny that any such thing occurred.

His response was, "I cannot discuss something like that, that happened here." [a cordial slip of the tongue, perhaps]

In my considered opinion, that adds serious credible weight to an event of that nature occurring.

As to why the media or other credible sources have not reported anything, I can only guess and find no satisfactory answers. I will, like the rest of you, have to wait and see.

Thanks for the effort. This is the second such 'slip' by a WCA employee -- as reported by board members with high post counts.

And I agree with your sentiments. We're looking for facts imho, not discord.

Now if the suicidee survived their attemp and is sitting hooked up to 13 different machines at Harborview would that be a reason for not releasing any info

I did a search, nothing. Checked the Obits, nothing. I will see if a funeral director friend can check out any gun shot deaths as well....

If this had a 911 call then the media would be all over it. And all gun shot victims would also be picked up by the media as well!

I have suspicions to the accuracy of this information and at this point doubt it happened.

Well thank you for the insults. Anyone with a good sense of the internet will have doubts as to anoymous postings until independent confirmation can be obtained. It would not be unusual for the business to not answer questions. And I do believe that trying to read to much into how the business responds can go either way.

* First of all....thank you Dave_pro2a and wa1478 for your support. As usual, the majority were wrong and we few were right.

Here are a few comments made by the majority:

Dave in Edmonds - I am an anti-gun troll. And....my story was debunked by another, more respected member of the WCA
Skidmark - If my story is right, then he also needs to give him vital updates about the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy
Gogodawgs - If it had been a 9-1-1 call, then the media would be all over it, AND all gunshot victims would also be picked up by the media.
Tombrewster421 - Suggested that because there were 3 new profiles trying to say what happened that it must be the same person because we have the same writting styles
Arentol - It is far-fetched
Seattlewingsfan - There are no records of calls or vehicles being sent to WCA at anytime that weekend, so he is satified that it did not happen. Also, he can't believe that an employee wouldn't know of something happening at their work.
Mikeyb - Was sarcastic about two others signing up yesterday, and with no media confirmation.
EMN - Single greatest cover up or complete bunk

Well according to The PATCH 5 minutes ago. They got a tip today from a random individual, they called the police who would only said in a round about way that an incident did happen. Then they called the King County Medical Examiner to get the information that it was indeed a suicide.

It's amazing it has taken several days for this info to make it out. Things like this are usually like a wildwire.

* You have been very level-headed throughout this whole ordeal. I am fine, but my wife and kids that had to see this horrific thing will take some time to get over it. I remain a fierce gun advocate, NRA member, and confirmed Conservative and will try my best to help my family understand that guns are not bad....people can be. Don't be an ***. Very few people called you a liar or jumped all over you. You make it sound like 2 people where on your side and the whole site was bashing you. We just wanted some answers, as did you. By that I mean some tangible facts or stories by somone that we can vouch for. We get people making false claims and troll posting with less than 5 post counts all the time.

All I did was call and report what I was told. Trying to verify your story! And even after my calls leaned toward not being able to confirm it. I still said it all seemed strange, being people got conflicting and slip up comments from employees at the range.

I'm sorry you had to witness such an act. But I am sure in a world news stance against guns right now. I think it should be safe for all to think this should have or would have been on the news sooner. Because it seems at this point that if an open carry advocate was seen j-walking there would be a 3 page article on it calling us gun toting law breakers.

Okay, so it's not a mainstream nor a recognizable source. I'm still skeptical; most situations like this have same day coverage from MANY sources of good repute. Call me doubting Thomas; I'm waiting for something I can put my finger on.
