A very generous individual has offered to match the next $500 in donations dollar for dollar - whether donations are mailed directly to Ms. Hogan (preferably, because GoFundMe charges ~10% in fees), or made through GoFundMe.
Because of this match offer, the next $500 in donations will actually result in $1,000 of donations.
Donations can be sent to Ms. Hogan made out to "Jane C. Hogan, IOLTA Trust". Please put "Jeffry Smith" or "St. Louis Zoo" in the memo. Her address is 5216 Chippewa Street, St. Louis, MO 63109.
Alternatively, you can contribute via GoFundMe at this address: https://www.gofundme.com/rp5tgsps
THANK YOU.
It's not a problem.Good deal, sorry that you were not heard last Friday.
Good to see you here, Mike. When I initially called, I was told they wouldn't allow that, but by law, I can ask and the Judge can consider it. ...
McBeth,<waste of bandwidth>
McBeth,
This is a serious thread about a serious, and now legal matter. Rights are being litigated, monies are being solicited and spent, and information is being gathered and disseminated.
Your distractions and non-contributory posts are hardly helpful - as per usual.
Why don't you take your waste of bandwidth show elsewhere?

Good things happen when good people stand together.
Kinda renews one's faith in their fellow man.
Think he and we fully expected the zoo to correct the problem long before this. If anyone is guilty of escalating and exacerbating the situation, it is again the zoo.
Note that he did not charge in open defiance with a team of long gun totin' friends and try to rub everyone's nose in it. He proceeded patiently and in good faith.
That he is asking for funds is hardly surprising - who among us could carry such a load alone?
I not only support his position but have given what I could to the effort AND encourage others to do likewise.

I've sent a thank you note to the individual and would like to again thank that person as well as the individual who offered to match contributions.
I'm grateful and stunned at the recent outpouring of generosity.
Mike,
Judge Moriarty declined. FYI, she has never approved a video request. Of
course, you are welcome to attend without a camera.

No suprise there, but hoped that there will be a first time.HI guys,
I just got word that Judge Mioriarty has declined a video camera to be in the courtroom. The PIO advised me that she's "never" allowed a camera in her court room which makes me sad to hear, but there we have it.

No it doesn't. Seems more like street corner begging by a guy who picked a fight he could not financially afford.
That's my two cents.
IF 1) you had actually read and digested the contents of this thread, and 2) IF your comments were made out of a sense of altruism, I think your attitude would be very different. Then again, what appears to be your blind personal disdain might have prevented you from doing either.A smart guy.... packs his parachute BEFORE he jumps.
