Smart move. Hope he has a good attorney .

Maybe it should be geese in a row since they are goose stepping thugs.

My misunderstanding! I always thought that "goose stepping" was what you do when you need to get around all of the goose sh*t LE spews when they are trying to "duck" liability for violating citizens' civil rights (or is that "elephant" sh*t? -- oh, well...).

Notice the silence and lack of posting by cop apologist in this thread?

Why did S.W.A.T respond, rather then Officers Dunkin and Donut?

Personally, I'm going to remain skeptical until I see a video or FOIA. If the events are true, follow the excellent advice already provided. If not...popcorn and flame thrower are standing by...

:)

That gives me an idea. How about "Officer Doug Hnut"?

I've said it before, I'll doubtless say it again in the future.

Whoever said an armed society is a polite society never met OCDO.

War is hell.

Fighting to preserve Rights is.... kinda like war.

At least OCDOers are just talking, whereas LEO run amok using their guns and fists to assault innocent people (and lying about it). Which does more damage.

"Have you ever been a police officer?" Well, that negates any contrary opinion from a civilian. The old 'you can't judge me because you've never done my job.' I think I saw that rationale in a Jack Nicholson movie once.

"I don't have to be nice to you." Well gee, and a situation escalates -- by design and intention. Might as well tell him to F-off.

Verbal tactics used to guarantee the desired result.

You are judged by how you treat those weaker than yourself -- like a male SPD officer hitting a teen girl in the face.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUZ3vNIkrKE
Speaking of: a 180 lbs innocent man tackled by a 270 lbs SPD monster. Life is ruined (not the officers)

It never ends. So sufficient to say I prefer the verbal barbs by OCDO members versus the physical assaults by the police. At least OCDO members are fighting the just fight.

A civil-rights lawsuit brought by a man hit so hard during his 2008 arrest that his head bounced off the hood of a Seattle police patrol car has been settled, with the city agreeing to pay $75,000.

The Police Department and Officer Kevin Oshikawa-Clay defended his actions, claiming he struck an unsuspecting John Kita as part of a department-approved "distraction technique" designed to give an officer a tactical advantage

It has gotten to the point that one can hardly tell the good guys from the bad guys.

True, but regardless of the general sentiment here, the "bad guys" in most police forces are still the minority. Even when the Seattle PD was 'carefully sifted' by DOJ they found that 20 officers out of the entire department were the cause of almost all of the improper use of force complaints.

Blame the Union for it's protectionist stand towards these bullies, not the good officers that do go out to "protect and serve".

If people here want to brand all cops as "bad" then why shouldn't all of us be subject to a similar brand by the public? One that brands us as Gun Nuts. Just like an average Police Department we here, as supporters of gun rights, have about the same number of "members" that are poor representatives of our "culture".

They 'codify' the behavior in their training. They are actually trained to be bad apples, then get the support of union and brass when the media becomes aware of the consequences of said training.

Huge difference between that and a few bad apples who CCW.

This statement above is so full of bs in your distorted views on life in general.
"Actually trained to be bad apples", really and how sad for you to go threw life feeling everyone is out to get you.

Our Military, Police and Citizens all play different roles in our society and when trying to compare one to the others is like saying apples and oranges are the same, not true, but they do go well together.

Let the whining begin!

This statement just begs for a "Cite". Can you show actual training curriculum or any syllabus where this behavior is "codified" or actually trained?

Just remember, any training material is actually subject to FOIA access.

If what you claimed is true, and such "training" was actually conducted, it would all be "Exhibit A" in the thousands of "abuse of force" lawsuits filed by attorneys. So many cases would be filed even new Law School Graduates would be joining in and getting rich in no time.

Since that doesn't seem to be happening I can only conclude that you are "Usted habla de su culo".
