Thanks for the input but there are different people, many now my friends, in the each thread but not the same people. How would you suggest I get the info to all of them without putting in both places?

Nt everyone checks more than one thread. In fact, I see only a few of the same people in each thread.

That is why it is called a thread, they are supposed to be for a single topic. You are violating the forum rules.

Specifically:

(8) KEEP IT ON-TOPIC:

As for not everyone reading every thread, how do you know? I read most threads in the WI forum but only respond when I have something ON TOPIC to say.

I don't know. But, I don't see many of the same users on the 3 threads I read. And, I do see many different users on each site. Since most Nov CCW applicants have now rec'd Their CCW permits and those who have not, will likely getting theirs soon, the threads have changed topic significantly. Most posts are now about types of weapons to carry, Holsters, advice on carry and other pertenent issues related to 2nd Amndment rights with a few scattered "on topic" posts.

So are you a bonafide OC.org moderator? Your thread about the Miami Vice wannabee shotgun seemed to be quite off the OC.org radar.

32,000 plus in a little less than 8 weeks, is over 4,000 per week. That is a pretty good rate.

The holiday season, may lower that average some, but soon, the additional requested DOJ staff, will be completing their training and improve the daily rate.

As people are more familiar with the application procedure and forms, there will be less application mistakes as well.

The allowed delay period, from receipt to posted, has been reduced from the 45 days, of Act 35 Section 100, 6+ weeks, to 21 days = 3 weeks by § 175.60(9)(b), Section 38 of the Act. The required rate is more than doubled, from all received in 45 days to all in hand December first within 21 days.

Welcome to the forum, TGP! Just a suggestion; there is no need to post the same message in multiple threads....

Thanks

All are encouraged to be self-moderating on OCDO - such does make the administrating of the forum much easier. We prefer to moderate with a soft hand as much as possible, reserving the hammer for the more egregious acts. After all we are all reasonable, well intentioned people - right?

Multiple posting is strongly discouraged; multiple threads in different sub-forums is a direct rule violation.

Such user/member notices should be taken in the spirit intended as keeping OCDO on track, not as a personal attack - these are appreciated by those in a more formal capacity.

Also might point out that one poster's perceived transgression does not excuse another - no need to play the "but he did it first" game.

Not bad at all, considering the circumstances.
