LOL. Allowed? No. Prohibited? No. I'm not going to OC (coming straight from work) and don't want to have to deal with Metro instead of go in. Plus the library is sandwiched right in the middle of a college campus, so I'd rather not be the one to deal with that. Just want to be a dude talking to the board and your average, friendly journalist-activist.

I know I won't be inside, I refuse to Plead my case when it comes to defending my life in a lawful manner. I may OC outside the library however. It is possible we could get some news coverage. So far, every time we have been covered it has gone well. Any one else interested in media coverage, OCing the grounds?

Media coverage is the gift that keeps on giving.

IMO - there is no such thing as bad media coverage. Even the most biased makes people think.

I am planning on being there. I have stood with you in the past at these sorts of things. So yes I will stay outside with you.

I'm going to be inside, politely telling them to pound sand back. Words are my skewer. I enjoy delivering speeches and letters in such circumstances. I'm glad you guys are gonna be outside. I do want to interview and perhaps photograph anybody protesting outside for the blog. The Review-Journal and TV might cover it once, but I'll cover it always and forever.

Yes, I am familiar with that. My question is if the state actually owns the land the libraries sit on and was in response to your post # 161 in this thread and is quoted below.

Your question does not merit an answer. This is not a "real estate forum" and I am under no obligation to respond to this silliness as I made no claim of property ownership in the post you allege.

So the state may have a parcel of land, and divided it up, part college, part library, and a fire station on the corner. They would be operated as three separate properties.

I highlighted the items in my post that generally determine the ability to control a certain property. If you want more, get your google search on. We certainly can feel the concern and love all the way from Central Kentucky, Somehow I get the feeling that contributors up and down this State, are dusting off their ignore buttons in commemoration of your verbal bestowal. Thanks so much for caring about the little corner of our county. My question to you is... If you owned this Nevada property, would you put businesses in the front, and a party area out back?

Sheesh. Stop with the parochial attitude/answers, and just answer the man's question, would you?

Either that or foolishly ignore him and other experienced out-of-staters <gasp>.

If you're wondering, Gutshot uses the size typeface he does because he doesn't have the greatest eyesight.

True. I only see these guys because you quote them.LOL.

I should be there very close to 6 tonight. Not much sooner though. I am working and breaking off during lunch so I will have to split sooner than later.

You guys keep misdirecting the thread: some of us are trying to accomplish things here. gut shots question has no relevance to OC in Nevada much less the library. despite that I answered the assumed pretext in Bold while the few remaining members who have not blocked you guys marveled in my patience. I also pasted the NRS so he could see for himself that his question was irrelevant. He dismissed all the help. Since you made the claim that it would be foolish to ignore him, why don't you provide the cite in Nevada law that prohibits/allows OC pursuant to who owns the building, or property. How can you help when you do not understand the basics. You and now gutshot take time from those that do, while confusing the newer members with bogus questions? uhhhh thanks for the help? (I Think?)

The man asked me a question. In doing so he asked me for my time and opinion. I respected his question, and answered appropriately without going further off the tracks, or doing his research on a unrelated topic to the task at hand. Instead gutshot purported I made a claim about property ownership citing a post # I did not make such a claim. I still gave him my answers in bold, and his question is still as useless as the first time he brought it up. You guys remind me of the time I had a flat tire, I pulled to the shoulder, and proceeded changing the tire, a helpful fellow stopped, walked up and surveyed for about 30 seconds and brilliantly asked. You Gotta Flat? I in all my foolishness ignored his question also.

<shakes head> Well, you guys will learn the hard way, then. I'm glad to see that some learning has already taken place, "ignores" or not.

I do have to say that the level of parochialism displayed on this thread vastly exceeds what I've seen elsewhere.

And thanks for hopping all the way over here from Ohio to continue the thread derail, and for using the word "parochial" twice in two consecutive posts. Us country bumpkins feel smarter already.
