I noticed the new gun business. I wonder how that will effect my business. As I'm limited to gunsmithing and transfers, it's the transfers that keep the roof over my head. If the new gun business competes with me too much it could put me out of business.

Well if I buy any guns at the West Sound Auction or from gun broker I'll use only you for my transfers.... now I want Fred's to call me back and hire me so I can get some money to spend on guns and marcus's transfers....

I understand your concern but personally I prefer the one on one personal customer service you provide over any bigger business. The smaller the company the better the product. I do not know how many of my friends have contacted you but I refer people to you all the time. That is something I will not do for Fred Myers or Borners

Aaah, the "personal touch" does indeed provide a superior service that one doesn't come to expect from cold and distant corporate environments. Let the big box stores remove the competition and we will all lose........and the prices will go up.

Which reminds me, you did some nice work on my Kimber two years ago. I have a couple of other guns that need some work. Are you still in that small building on Sedgwick by appointment? I will send you an email.

OCd at QFC on Mile hill then off to Grey Chevy off Sidney to pickup my dads stupid Equinox from getting it's transmission seal replaced.

Not a peep from anyone at either places.

Using the handy-dandy .060 exceptions, I OC'd today exploring some trails and logging roads in the Green Mountain State Forest, when I do OC it's the trusty S&W Model 10 with its 5 inch pinned barrel.

encountered some motorbike riders, one commented how he liked my ".44" (it's a .38 spl) before leaving.

Well, considering that I have a contract with Westsound Auciton to handle all firearms transfers, that won't be an issue. I looked into the website and they do transfers, at a rate of $100 per firearm, +$25 if it comes from a non-licensee and +$25 if a dealer doesn't provide an FFL. I really don't think they can compete with me with those rates.

Ajetpilot, yep, still in the same hole in the wall. Shoot me an email or give me a buzz. I could use more smithing work.

I really appreciate the referrals. Most people don't say who referred them, though sometimes they'll call me from Boerners. LOL

OC'd at the PO Wallyworld last Sat. saw two others carrying. one was on his way out as I was coming in with 3 kiddos. didn't get a chance to strike up a conversation. he seemed to be in a hurry. the other gent I noticed checked out at the liquor sales counter. also very focused and in a hurry.

carrying a newborn, not sure anyone even noticed my trusty Sig P226 oc'd on my right hip.

tonight I OC'd out to dinner @China Sun Buffet in PO. no hassles. didn't even notice any strange looks

OC'd out to dinner again tonight. just me and the baby. If you haven't checked it out yet, Kama'aina Grill near the ferry terminal in Bremerton has some tasty food! nice young man working the grill chatted with me about my side arm and OC and carrying conditions and why. He turns 21 in a month, so learning before he buys his first gun. happened to have a couple fliers in the car, so gave him one before we left. maybe he will find his way here.

I was at Rodeo Drive In Friday night to see Iron Man 3 and someone walked passed us OC. My first time seeing someone OC.

I was there Friday night seeing the great Gatsby. I was sloppily open carrying my S&W 646. My shirt was untucked but tucked behind the gun, after a wile I became a kind of half concealed half open carry. I was in screen 2 but made several trips over to screen one to get in line to order food, use the bathroom or to try and sneak a few peeks at Iron Man
