Official update.

(I just made myself Official.)

Rally Point is Cableas in Boise at 1300hrs. Leave by 1330hrs. When you arrive, look for a brown SUV with Ron Paul stickers on it parked close to the stinker station.

From then on its kind of simple - go shoot and then back to Boise to eat.

Flyng Pie had been suggested. Never gotten to eat there myself, but would like to. So any suggestions on Sunday after shooting will be appreciated and voted on.

See you all Tomorrow!

Edited to Add:

JB, if you're still interested, come on down.

Looks like Neural_overide is wanting to come too.

As far as a weekly regular meetup, let's all discuss that in person tomorrow.

So umm, I asked this couple weeks ago, but no one responded, but what are we gonna use as Targets?

Do any of you guys have Target stands of any type? or we just gonna plink at rocks and cans?

I'll bring a bunch of large bags for the clean up.

You're right, we never addressed the target issue. Blackfox and I are both bringing large boxes that are easy to move around and tac a paper target to. I also bought a few watermellons and some jugs of water to shoot at. Everyone should try to bring some kind of target, no need to get fancy. If anyone wants to use our boxes, just buy some paper targets when we get to Cabella's.

Not a huge fan of the snow myself...but we're still on. If we find it's too cold to do too much shooting we can always turn this into a bowling/pizza event. See you all in a couple hours.

It was great meeting all of you, and I look forward to doing this again soon! Thanks again for helping a newcomer and being understanding.

Overall I think that everything went well (we will see what indi's friends say next time he sees them haha). Too bad no one called the cops on us , probably better that way

See you all next time.

I got some pics from my cell phone camera, so I will (lightly) edit them and post them here.

Hey Guys,

Aplogies for skipping out on Dinner, but my feet were wet, cold, and freezing.

Dang Snow!

It was great to meet some of you yesterday, Hope to do it agian soon under more favorable weather conditions.

That Tannerite was cool stuff.

I think those 55gr loads I was using were weak loads.

the first magazine I shot were filled with 75gr loads, and didn't have the feeding problems then, until the 55gr loads were put in.

Also glad to have met everyone; I think we had a great turnout. Can't wait to do it again soon. We should plan a non-shooting event sometime too.... we can do some bowling, shopping, dinner, etc and just enjoy the day. No more shooting for me till the snow is gone. :)
