Wisconsin now has over 1.25 percent of its adult population with CCW permits.

Recived my license today.
#700XX they are over 70k issued 2.2.12

This is a significant base to use for activism to restore the Constitution. The really significant number is that of dedicated activist who can be recruited from those numbers. In Arizona, just 2,000 activists who were dedicated enough pay $30 a year and to send an occasional email, were enough to obtain constitutional carry.

One of the best forums for recuiting activists is the gun show. Those constitutionalists are out there. They only need to be contacted and helped with a little organization and direction to become a recognized significant force in Wisconsin politics.

The successes of this last year will be repeated in the future. I have seen this happen many times. All it takes are some dedicated people and their willingness to put in the time.

Thank you to all those who are doing what is necessary to restore the Constitution. You are heros, and you know who you are.

For those interested, I would recommend VCDL and AZCDL as models to follow. If you contact them, I am sure that they will be happy to supply techniques and advice.

Going to the annual Gun Rights Policy Conference is also a wonderful experience and a great way to make contacts.

Welcome to OCDO-WI.

I particularly liked your "Location: A, A," that is rather easily read "A is A" that is significant to (Ayn) Randians.

:p Doh ! Please for give me. It was a carry over from a different forum that I frequent. I do apologize.

I guess I should have looked things over which I normally do.

What could we do to celebrate the 100K permit? Maybe send the person who has it a certificate of appreciation?

It should be a news story in itself!

Keep them coming...

100,000 will be a number to celebrate for sure. It is good to see, so quickly, these kind of numbers. I know that I will sleep safer tonight because a lot of my neighbors in the state are exercising their right to gun ownership/carry, at a time when so many are trying desperately to take guns away from us. Keep the numbers rolling and the press positive about what we are doing!

It's funny watching the wife run to the mailbox everyday, hoping. Like I did in December. I told her less than 21 days is nothing compared to that month. But she's still anxious.

:)

You get to watch her run for the mail. If she's cute and bounces well, that's a bonus! Hope her permit comes quickly and hope you get your permit this week too Baer!

Well since my check cleared the 28th (deposited on the 27th) I guess that would logically mean mine should come tomorrow. I sure hope it does this is worse than Christmas at 5 years old (I think the mail lady thinks I have nothing better to do than wait at my mail box every day)

Hang in there Baer... it is surely on the way. Good things come to those who wait patiently (or at least try to)! Hope all that are waiting find mail tomorrow from DoJ.

if you sent in a postal service money order how do you check to see if it's cashed or not? looks like i won't be getting that 50 bucks back..i already know it after being denied twice already.

I thought you said in your thread about being denied a firearm purchase that the reason you were confused about that was that you had received a CCL?
