Well I got myself a Glock 23 today, saw it at a gun show and coulden't resist. Does anyone else have this problem of compulsive gun purchasing? It's like an addiction. I remember reading something a few months ago about how guns multiply when the safe door is closed, I believe it now.

My problem is this darn one-gun-a-month law. Some months there's barely enough money left to pay the bills after I buy my mandatory gun. ;)

Me too! Me too!

I got me a new revolver today, a Ruger Blackhawk convertible .45LC/.45ACP with target sites and a 7.5" barrel. Since I carry a semiauto .45 anyway, this one fits right into my "family"...

And I'm so happy!

Am I the only one that finds this insanely funny?

Not a new gun weekend for me, but I did buy a bunch of new holsters at the Nations Gun Show. Now I can appropriately carry some of my pistols that I really couldn't before. I finally had a chance to OC my Taurus Tracker .44 magnum today because of that.:)

Agent, I just realized you're in WV. If you don't mind me asking what part are you from? I'd like to organize some type of WV meetup but unfortunatly there are not too many of us on here:(. A small get together with a few people may help start raising awareness in our state!

What type(s)? While I love the Galco and the Mitch Rosen holsters, there's a guy at these (Chantilly & Fredericksburg) shows with JBP holsters that just seem to sing to me.

I was truly glad to see the Pager Pal folks have apparently left for good.

No I saw the Pagerpal dude there. I bought some kydex holsters from the Grandfatheroak table, and a nice leather pancake from the The Masters Holster table. I got 2 neck holsters one for a NAA Mini and one for my P3AT and I finally got a decent holster for my Taurus Tracker .44 Magnum.

Tess,
I have 2 JBP holsters, both with retention straps, for my Bersa .380 and my Taurus PT-92. They are not heavy-duty rigs, but are well made and serviceable. They're made in Turkey, and are quite reasonably priced.

I never took the Pager Pal seriously, but a friend of mine bought one, much to his dismay. I'll bet there are pleny for sale in the bargain bins at gun shops and tag sales:p

Was JBP all the way in the back left? That was where the guy I bought from was, but I didn't catch his business name.

Edit to add some pictures of my new holsters.

I can't GIVE my PagerPal away. I should write a product review of it - the response they sent to my criticism was way beyond the pale as an example of 'don't do it' customer dis-service.

Yeah, back left this time. He's often across from Rabbit Ridge (or something like that) guns.

I particularly like that they're made in Turkey (I was stationed there and have a warm spot for things Turkish). On top of that, though, it just feels comfortable and holds the gun as I like.

Well they seem a little thinner in the leather department, which means they probably won't hold up as long. However, that one I bought fits my tracker perfectly and is good enough for $50.

longwatch, is that a Bianchi covering that tracker?

I've got a tan bianchi holster in the same style for my 627, just picked up my holster today for about the same price.

Looks just like a Bianchi doesn't it. It's by The Masters Holsters, the guy was saying it's just like Galco ;). It's a closer comparison with Galco than with Bianchi IMHO.
