Flamethrower on! Don't ask in advance, if they don't have a sign at the door then go in. If they say something ask for something in writing, if they still protest let them know your wallet is attached to your holster and that you shall conduct your business elsewhere. I have yet to be trespassed from any place yet, to include places where others say they have. Remember attitude plays a big part. Whether you are caring a gun or not a private business can trespass you for any reason. Sometimes they just use the gun as an excuse if they don't like you or "scare" them. I'm not saying that is right, but they have the right to do what they want. Please remove flame retardant clothing now.

You guys say what you want, doesn't bother me at all.

What would bother me is that we get up early, my wife gets dressed very nice, we meet another couple for brunch and then get told that I am not welcome. I would rather take a little bit of heat from here, for asking in advance, and sharing the info than the grief I would get from someone who matters a lot more to me than people who I don't have to live with.

Normally I don't ask, but for something as important as this to my wife, and knowing the type of people they usually get there, I figured asking could head off a lot of grief if we showed up and then was asked to remove my gun or leave. This way I know to conceal for the meal and then back to OC for the fair later in the day.
