I'm not trying to start a political discussion, but I just wanted to let people know there is a support Walker Rally in Wauwatosa tomorrow. This really isn't a meet and greet or anything but a few members from WCI plan on attending according to the posts over on the Facebook page.

I'm only posting because I don't think I've seen it brought up and I know there are people like me who don't do Facebook much.
I'm not even sure they will allow OC but it is what it is.

I believe this is an outside event, so there is nothing to disallow the way I see it. you may need to concern yourself with a school zone, but a permission slip from the DOJ fixes that issue.

There are schools near it, depending where you walk, you may be walking through one. One is ~950 ft south.

I don't know, they have rented the part of the park they are holding the event. In my mind they are temporary occupants and I will abide by their rules. To me it's a little different then if they just got a permit to gather on public property, even if they technically can't kick me out just for carrying a firearm I would still leave anyway. I don't think there will be any problems but that's just my opinion.

I read the area may be fenced off so I'm uncertain if they could apply the Summerfest clause here or not, I'm guessing not.
943.13 (1e) (h) “Special event” means an event that
is open to the public, is for a duration of not more than 3
weeks, and either has designated entrances to and from
the event that are locked when the event is closed or
requires an admission.

No Prob

I open carried there w/ no problem. Sopped Gov. Thompson on the way to the podium to shake his hand. Stopped him after he went ballistic (awesome) on stage and got a photo with me and Sarge!
