I wanted to pass this guy's ballistic test videos along. This guy does excellent testing, and he has tested numerous loads. Watching this man's videos will better inform you of how well your load functions.
Here is his Youtube address: http://www.youtube.com/user/tnoutdoors9?feature=watch
Here are a few videos:
Underwood 9mm, 115 gr. GoldDot (1400 fps): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ7ri9wa728
Underwood .357 Sig., 125 g. GoldDot (1500 fps): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ughIFOrIP_w&list=UL
Same ammo with clear ballistic gel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iujNWfhUx4A&feature=plcp
GoldDot .40S&W, 155 gr. (1190 fps): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gee4lYnxAWY&feature=plcp
GoldDot .45 acp, 200 gr. +P (1060 fps): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mftGL4VY8QQ&feature=plcp
This man has tested NUMEROUS loads, and it is very interesting to see how they stack up to the factory claims. I will say that Underwood, Corbon, Doubletap, and Buffalo Bore normally come out better than the factory claims. Check his channel out.
