Please sign this petition to allow the open carrying of firearms in the state of Texas. We need 25,000 signatures to get through and 150 to be publicaly viewable.
Don't get me wrong I know that the whitehouse won't pass it but with all the people coming on for the state secession petititions a LOT of people will sign this
when it reaches 150 signatures. And then maybe open carry will be passed. This petition is also for concealed carry without permit. Please click the link below and sign the petition.

why would you submit anything to the white house. that is like saying "you are the boss, may we have permission sir". they have no say it the matter. Texas decides that issue not the white house. that is the problem now. we grant way to much power to a general government that is supposed to be powerless in such matters.

The point of it is to have a lot of people sign it so that it may already have enough to be passed or at least seriously considered in the Texas legislature. What i'm trying to say is it's like another petition site. A lot of people will sign it because they're coming on for the state secession petitions. So how about this NEW petition I believe is better.

I can see that trying to convince you that you're wasting your time is - and the irony is so thick you can cut it with a knife - a waste of my time.

You guys might want to re-read this thread in its entirety. The original poster has already changed to the appropriate tactics. You're just reopening an argument that's already been resolved in your favor. How about we move on now and focus on what's ahead of us?
