I thought you were going to the East Lansing one?

I was there at 10 am. I knew I was the first 2Aer there because the friendly barista commented about how she hadn't seen $2 bills in a long time. I told her that she'd probably see a few more today. She asked why and I told her.

I will also be at the Okemos location later this afternoon. I may catch you guys there depending on the time.

Somebody was insistent on the Okemos site...
I hope you stop by, I may be there before 5:00, I do have a dentist appt, before so depending on how fast that goes.
I know we will have at least 4 people so far and with you that's 5.

Later.

are you guys using $2 bills out there?

I meant to but I didn't get to the bank yesterday.

Dan Kidder from Sportsmans News suggested also mailing your receipts to Starbucks HQ with a note explaining our support for them. I think I will do that.

By the way, the reason for the ammo giveaway is to try to get more people to document their visit with pictures to increase the online visibility of the movement.

Well, this seems like good enough an excuse to sign up here instead of just lurking.
I'm heading out to Okemos now, as that seems to be a popular location.

Today, printed off a few of the "Gun Owners Support Starbucks!" flyers, stopped at the bank to pick up a few $2 bills, and patronized Starbucks at:

--Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi
--Further up the road in Novi at 14 Mile and Novi Road
--Commerce Township
--West Bloomfield

No issues, and appreciation from the Baristas for our counter-boycott!

Printed up some Gun Owners Support Starbucks fliers. Had a nice conversation with the barista at the Starbucks in East Lansing this morning. I was at the Okemos Starbucks for 30 minutes, from 4:35 pm until 5:05 pm, but had to leave to meet my wife. Didn't see any other OCers there. :( Big smiles on the $2 bills all around.

that is 100% correct and a Corporation is not a person thus has no property rights. The Constitution does not apply protections to Government or Creations of fiction by Government called Corporations.

Judge Napolitano says businesses can't prohibit firearm carry on their property because they are public accommodations and firearm carry is a fundamental liberty.

When I paid for my purchase with 2 dollar bills the barista asked me if I was in there earlier. I told her "no" and she said "I just wondered because somebody else paid with a bunch of 2 dollar bills earlier." I asked her if she knew why and she didn't so I explained it to her and she expressed her thanks for the explanation.

About the time I was finishing my tea and cake another gentleman came in and ordered and I heard him thank the cashier for supporting our rights. We walked out at about the same time and talked briefly outside the store. As we were talking another 2A supporter that the other guy knew walked up.

Glad to see the support in our little town.
