Ten people have been shot. Four people confirmed dead. Can we please take a beat and wait for a while before trying to be "funny?"

Why? The anti-gunners will NOT wait to take advantage of other people's suffering to push their agenda -- an agenda that has made it possible for these psychotic individuals to commit these insidious acts because the victims have been disarmed by THEIR government. Are we not allowed to vent our anger of this fact with a little sarcasm? What else can we do? We have had to watch people get gunned down for years now thanks to the "gun-FREE" zones created by the anti-gunners, all while knowing these acts could mostly be diverted if good people could carry guns everywhere they wanted.

News states 12 confirmed dead, no tally on wounded yet.
Shooter dead, had a handgun, a shotgun, and an AR-15.
Still looking for two other possible involved persons.

In light of the recent shooting, I think DC police need to go back and charge David Gregory for possession of the illegal mega capacity magazine.

We need to send a message to America that gun crime has to be stopped.

2 - Shooter (now dead) is confirmed as Aaron Alexis of Ft. Worth, Texas. Repotedly (not confirmed) a former contract employee at the Yard. I am impressed with the speed with which his fingerprints were processed.

3 - Aresnal is now a double-barrel shotgun, a handgun (still not pinned down to model), and an AR-15. All easily carried in one catalog case.

4 - Nooz is already playing the workplace violence vs. terrerist act debate.

I trust my government **cough** but keep hraring "vince Foster" and "Warren Commission" in my head.

Senate staffers and others inside its facilities will now be able to leave the buildings, but nobody besides staff will be allowed inside the Senate buildings until Tuesday....
There was no similar lockdown in place on the House side of the Capitol complex.


what a bunch of attention hogs they are ... maybe the house was not locked down because it was further away from the Navy yard?

Like if they all got shot we would be out of senators ... there would be more folks to take their place (and its a reason why I do not support shooting politicians...there are always plenty of people who want to take their place).

Just trying to get more momentum if they decide any gun control leg. is warranted. Nothing but politically motivated.

Kinda like the black duo that were doing sniper hits a few years back...I forget their names.

In the end it's something that could have and should have been prevented. If we can trust those soldiers & sailors with weapons during a time of war, we sure as hell can trust them with them during peace time.
