Definition of "boat" - A hole in the water into which one throws money.

BOAT- Break out another thousand!

I know I own one. It has 365 hp but does it all in first gear (13x12 direct drive)

I can't tell you how many rounds of .22LR and hours of my life that I burned up in that pit. I was heart broken when they closed it a while back, glad to see that it's opened up again:celebrate

During our time at the pit I didn't realize I had the voice recorder on.
The batteries died near the end of the shoot but I was able to pull
out some sections from the main file. I have a Olympus
VN-4100PC Digital Voice Recorder, with external (ME-15)
mic.
These have not been cleaned up in any way. I record on
the HQ hi setting.

The pit is still a mess with spent shotgun hulls and brass all over the place. It needs a major clean up with several hundred people, or DNR is likely to shut it down again.

I'm game to do some serious cleanup of spent hulls. Probably seperate the high brass ones out too, and find a reloader who wants them....
If nothing else, if several people showed up and picked up a few more bags of trash, it couldn't hurt.

There were at least 6 huge blue bags of trash near the road that someone had picked up but someone opened to scrounge for brass. Even the high brass hulls that are left are crushed and probally no good. There were a few computer monitors there as well that were being used as targets.
I've only been there once but am game to do some cleanup. I had an idea to use a leaf blower, some have a vacuume bag as well and might save a persons back on picking up the hulls.

I'm sure it would take several pick up trucks to haul away the trash just for a one day outing with a group of folks.

Heck, every bit helps. Mebbe find one of those long grabby things to pick up shells with, instead of bending over. Even if we could just clear a small area, it would be a help...

It used to be the High Base shot shells were better of higher pressure loads, but not any more the low base shot shells will handle the same as the high base now.

Unfortunately for me and my big truck will be in NE Oregon quad riding the 3rd thru the 9th and I'll be in Tri-cities the 16th thru the 21st. So my big truck and trailer are out for those days. Good luck.

I'm available both June 7th & 21st. I'll check with my old cub scout group and see if I can get some help as well (shorter legs, closer to the ground...)
