We have a second OC event scheduled for May 2014 in the COS (Fountain) area:

As for June 2014, we are looking to have an OC event in Castle Rock (and probably a 2nd June event in COS) -- more on that later, as it develops.

And as always, although our events mainly are for OC-ers & about OC-ing (of course), CC-ers and those even considering carrying (either OC or CC) are welcomed to attend. Remember, most of us OC-ers ALSO have a CC permit, it's just that we usually OC. So we try to avoid the "us vs. them" sometimes adversarial relationship between some OC & CC people and instead, try to promote better relations and understanding between the 2 groups. And further, educate/welcome NEW people who have never carried a firearm EITHER way before (OC/CC) and are looking into doing so.

Do you guys ever plan any events in the south Denver area (ie Littleton, Highlands Ranch?)

We have events on a rotating (geographically-speaking) basis from way-up-North (Golden) to way-down-South (Fountain/Security) and Eastward to Parker -- that covers a whole lot of territory in the DEN/COS area. So, eventually an OC event will be coming close to you at some point...keep track of the "Events" postings here (and on the other 2 Colorado Gun Forums where event notices are also posted).

Still, some of our members (especially your host, Yours Truly, who -- of course -- attends ALL these events) don't mind driving "out of our way" if you will, so although yes, it's more convenient to make an event that's closer mileage-wise, an event further way should not be un-makeable simply because of that. After all, we don't have them that often (yet) and we think "promoting The Cause" by meeting each other in-person is reason enough to attend (rather than ONLY talk about it in assorted online "carry" Forums).

We had our latest OC event in Golden this past Sunday (5-18-14 @ Denny's/Youngfield Service Rd) -- may I again say "thank-you" here & now to our new CC-er friend from Broomfield for attending!

[Remember, CC-ers -- as well as "newbies" who have only been thinking about carrying a handgun (either way, OC or CC) up until now -- are ALWAYS invited to these OC events]

Anyway, this coming Sunday (5-25-14) our next OC event will be in Fountain/Security.

And in June, 2 OC events are planned (specific dates TBA shortly, but probably the last 2 Sundays in June (the 22nd & 29th) -- due to my having to make a road-trip to Texas earlier in June):

1. Castle Rock (Village Inn @ Wolfensberger & Caprice)
2. Aurora (Denny's @ Hwy 225 & 6th Ave.)

But getting back to your specific question re: Littleton and Highlands Ranch, yes, at some point there will be an event scheduled for either IHOP or Village Inn there @ Ken Caryl & Loop 470 (Littleton). Also, another event will be in Parker (we've already had one there a while back) -- which is not far from Highland Ranch...or we could make it IN Highland Ranch -- we're somewhat flexible in choosing locations! ;-)

Whatever, just keep watching for posts on OC events (in this Forum and the other 2) as one will be coming to a theater near you soon.

Or, just make the drive a bit further out from your "comfort zone." ;-)
