I just saw on the news that they said the new Kansas City ban is null and void that the override is completed I don't know if that's true or not

Im guessing not the are still arguing over the Ag bill I tuned in to the live stream after I saw what the news said @ 10pm

It has been a long time coming. Thanks to all those that have been laying down the foundation and making small progress over the years. Now we can celebrate for this years advances and hope that the legislature will be more receptive to future advancements in getting our rights back.

Don't forget to thank your representatives and senators who got this done. The roll call will be available tomorrow, but

in the Senate, SB656 needed all 23 Republicans to vote for it. They did. No dems voted in favor.

in the House, SB656 passed with 117 votes. There were 110 Republicans. Assuming that all Republicans voted in favor, 7 dems crossed the aisle.

Again, thank your representatives and senators who voted in favor.

The part/s of SB 656 that fell under the emergency clause would become effective immediately upon the Governor's signature or override of his veto?
