Some of you guys really need to get a life. Stop taking little details such as someones screen name or differences in opinion so personally and start working towards the goal here. Get out and oc! Meet and talk to people! If you are a member of an organization, lead them to it. People need other people with the same interests and goals.

We need boots on the ground, not ethereal voices on the internet pontificating about what should be done or criticizing what is being done.

Something I can agree with!!!!

Still here.

The internet persona formerly known as Doug Hoffman/ Don Quixote/ Sancho Panza, among others won't be around to forget anything on OCDO much longer if he is even still here.

Oh how the mighty are fallen! Hoisted on his own petard! Defeated by the "slave, leader of slaves", according to himself.

This is fairly rich, coming from you. So you're going to play the uniter now? "Rally behind me, boys, and I'll lead the charge and put an end to the bickering and name calling that...I...started..."

You're the one who derailed the Steinhorst Questions thread by calling me a sock puppet of Doug's when I pointed out you'd mis-attributed another users comments to him. You still haven't even bothered to apologize for calling me a sock puppet, trying to have me banned for being a sock puppet, and telling me I shouldn't be posting because I don't have enough credibility. Seems like one of the basic traits a good leader should have is the ability to admit when he's wrong, take responsibility for his actions, and apologize when he has wronged others. You've done none of those things, and apparently refuse to even consider it.

I don't talk about what I do at all Gleason.

Umm...I seem to remember in the Steinhorst thread when you were busy telling me how my opinion didn't matter because I was still a new user and that one of the reasons I lacked credibility was because you've actually met and interacted with many of the other members, whereas I hadn't. Is that not talking about what you do? Sure sounds like it to me.

Tick tock tick tock...
Speaking of "tick tock", I'm still waiting for that apology. *Insert Jeopardy theme music here...*

BTW, have you ever considered asking an editor or PR person to look over your posts before you click Submit? I haven't really noticed all that many spelling or grammatical mistakes in your posts, but they could at least help you keep to a clear, concise and consistent message.

I'm sorry I hurt your feelings you big baby. If thats not enough I can send you a big red balloon with a lollipop.

Real men don't apologize, they take action. If I was wrong I was wrong. Get over it.

I'm not sure where you learned about what it means to be a real man, but I hope to god you don't have any male children that ever meet my daughter or any other girl/woman, for that matter.

Real men admit when they were wrong without being forced to do so. Real men apologize when they've made a mistake and wronged someone without being badgered into it. Real men realize that nothing about admitting an error or apologizing makes one less of a man, but rather makes one more of a man.

Wow. Just...wow. What a completely deplorable attitude. I finally have a real window into your thought processes. Now I see why you reason and argue the way you do. My three year old nephew is more of a "real man" than you are.

Listen Don.

With just 6 posts you stuck your hand in the middle of a dogfight and then cried when you got bit. Dougie got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and is facing the choice of public apology or banning. Knowing as I do the size of his ego and that his ego will never allow him to apologize, I'll give him credit for being a man but in the same breath will not miss him around here at all.

If you are not one of Dougie's sockpuppets then you are probably one of those Internet Athletes that we will never meet at the rallies or picnics, so until I do or you say something of substance here about oc or cc I can't take you seriously.

 Are you or have you ever been married? Ever have a boss?

Thats an unfair edit of my post Paul.

Men should think about things and rarely make mistakes in relationships. In the rare instance you do offend someone there are a dozen other things to do rather than just blabber the words "I'm so sorry" which mean nothing.

Change your behavior if it was wrong and it will make a big difference.

This is where we will have to agree to disagree. When I do something wrong, whether intentionally or by accident, I say I'm sorry AND change my behavior.

Also, I make mistakes quite often, it's part of the growing process. I try not to make the same mistake twice but I have done that as well sometimes.

I agree that saying "I'm sorry" without meaning or corrective action is worthless, however, it usually is a beginning of the healing process and an implicit statement that you either meant no harm or that you meant harm and NOW will try to not do it again.

As for telling The Don that he just happened to put his hand in the middle of a dog fight and got bit that is just a cop out.

He explained exactly what he said, you disagreed and then went on an unfounded tirade against him. What you said is kinda like a husband telling a wife who just experienced a beating. Well, you had it coming.

As for super double top secret knowledge that Doug is on the verge of getting banned, I do not see his actions any differently than yours.

You missed the point.

I was accusing Doug of using sockpuppets to bolster his weak claims. Two of Doug's puppets showed up in threads and then so did the Don saying the same stuff. Wrongly or not I assumed he was another puppet.

On the subject of Dougie, John ran Dougie's IP range and it came back a match for 3 or more alter-egos that Doug was using. This is a bannable offense here and I'm just waiting to see if John will make good his word.
