Why the hell do you guys think you need to "check " with the local LEos .You don't need to check or inform them of anything.I hate that .The only reason LE new of the willow lake event is because I invited a few I knew as guests.I don't ask their permission for anything.S..t Eric why would you even do that .???????.

WEll if will follow that line then I should advise the police that I will be going to Starbucks for coffee.Or Should we have called Federalway police and say a friend and I are going to the DMV to register his car OC.I ride the bus all over.Maybe I should call the transit cops,SPD Seatac and let them know I or we will be on a bus headed for Seattle.What do you think? is it ok? do you need to put out a bulletin?? Its ridicullous.Just be cordial when and if they do show up.Dam !!

It is none of the PD's business if we are having a picnic of not......Do you inform them when you go shopping? #%$^&@ anything they think about what I do with my time. I am in my civil rights!!!!!!

Yeah guys, I know it is annoying, however, soon, we will never have to inform them of anything we're doing and when some sheeple dials 911 and breathlessly reports a man with a gun, the police will calmly tell that sheep that it is perfectly legal to bear arms openly in Washington State and to please stop calling 911 to report people doing legal activities.... I mean, my hope is that if the person persists in calling the police every time they see me or someone else OCing on MI, they'll be threatened with arrest for abusing the 911 system.

Now with me here on this Island... I live here and have to deal with the PD on a daily basis in my line of work. And, I work with the city as a contractor.... so an OC picnic to me is a proper event to let them know is happening so they can prepare and so they won't think of me as an agitator and stop doing business with me. My business is struggling enough as it is.

We're not stopping our activity... we're just showing them the courtesy of a pre-picnic phone call.

We do not need to inform anyone now! It is not like these rights are some new thing......It is none of our business if people feel the need to dail 911...It is thier business! This makes me not want to attend because it is counter productive...calling the PD to inform them assumes the position that we are doing something that is uncivil. As far as you living on the Island,...what does that have to do with OC and your business? OC is not like taking the Harley out on a weekend,...If you are going to stand up for your rights do it all the time.

Informing the PD shows weakness and insecurity!

I can see why some would want to ban guns due to the way some are acting here. sure gives the idea that instead of helping inform you don't care and would rather be confrontational

I have been to seversal park gatherings and no on calle ahead. The first one Inwent to we set up near the playground.Yes some did call the cops and they just cruised by and didn't even come to talk.That is BS so what If someone calls It is absolutely.ridiculous. .I am really rethinking wheather I will be there.I don't want to go to events where you little girls fell you have to call the cops.Who really is a sheep.

Not at all confrontaitional .I bet I have passed out more brochures and answered more questions than most.Remember I also had taken on request some Safeway staff to the range because they see me OC all the time.

It is your duty to be confrontational when it comes to you rights. I am a grown man and do not feel the need to check in with anyone. It is not as though we are doing anything that "should" be considered negative. And if we do act like it is a negative thing...it only supports that behavior.

I will be there with my daughter. I am bringing charcol, lighter fluid, some 24 chicken/turkey hot dogs, 24 buns and 3 liters of soda.

Someone will need to bring cups, chips, dip, paper plates, burgers and buns if they want beef. If someone can also bring more pop or water that would be great.

Oh yeah, also, bring Ketsup, Mustard and Mayo if you would.... thanks...

I am hoping that at least six or seven of us will be there.

I am arriving at 10am to secure the spot. I went there this evening and the spot isn't rented... which means it won't be rented tomorrow. No one can kick us out.

Area A is free for us. Area B is rented by Bellevue Healthcare... just an FYI.

Just to verify, is this the park on the left directly after the bridge if traveling from Pasco to Burbank?

Edit:
Oops nevermind! I saw Burbank and assumed the park was in Burbank Washington!
I didnt know it was way over by Seattle. Oh well...
