What we need now is another "Mr. Big" to step forward and match another say. $2,500 in new contributions. Any takers? Contact me or John ASAP. we woulod like to fund some taxi cab signs in Austin or another major city, as well as keep the bill board up beyond the 2 months already paid for.

I contacted an old hunting bussy today about sponsoring an open carry bill. I hunted pheasants with Texas STate Senator Eddie Lucio back in the 80's. I don't know that it will help, but I know he is an outdoorsman and hunter. Maybe it will keep the bug in his ear, he has alot of clout in Austin.

I'm near San Antonio, I'll see if I can go find it this afternoon. Do you know if it's on the South or North bound side?

Thanks, Mike. Let's watch the OCDO Site for new visitors. Is there a way to tally the number of first-time posters during the time that the billboard is up?

What is the current momentum for this cause to change the Decriminalization of Oc in the Heart of America? Im glad to see the efforts have gotten something tangable for all to see in the great Sovereign State of Tejas.

Mike, count me in for 100 when I get down there. I should arrive in Killeen around Thanksgiving and will get settled in and make a payment. I love that sign. That was a great idea. Going to pass the idea to the buddies up here in Idaho. I may take the drive down to see it in person. Man that is great.

This thread is from Aug of 2008. I'm sure your donation would be accepted, but it may not go toward the Texas billboards...

I doubt the link for contribs re texas works right now - but the one for Wisconsin does so pleae use it for now!
Many individuals from other states helped us out when we had our big push last year, we need to also help them out as we are individually able!

I am sure that we will get our Texas push with Billboards and radio spots etc back online later this next year when gearing up for the 2011 legislative session.
For now, Mike is right, the more we help the other states, the more they will help us when the time comes, and every victory helps us all out, no matter which state the battle was fought in!
