Alright people, the way I see it, we've got the money for one billboard and so now we need to keep up what Mike and John have started and work toward more billboards and maintaining the one we're about to put up!! Like Mike said, there are, what, over 8500 members on this site and 600,000 visitors a month. How many signs could we put up with a dollar or two from each member every month? A dollar from each visitor??!!! I'm gonna keep contributing, make it a regular thing. I just have to find something I can sacrifice in order to cover it. Should be an easy task. Absolutely worth it!!

I also want to say THANKS to all the people outside of Texas for contributing to this cause. We as a nation need to stand on this issue. After all, the 2ndAmendmentis writtenin our national Constitution, even if our state legislators have written their own BS laws that illegally subvert it.

We will be taking donations for quite some time yet as we try to keep the billboard in place actually into the legislative session.

As for the Harrisonburg Gun Show, I don't think so but you can always mail it to me anytime. PM me for the address.

Thanks so much!

John

If you donated, you should have recieved an email. If not, talk to John and clarify where your donation came from and I'm sure he'll update you account.

Actually, I enjoy and agree with your statement, I would love to travel to any state and exercise my founding rights without getting looks of digust and horror.

Living in California right now specifically the Orange County it is hard to exercise anything let alone talk to people about firearms. I drove to Phoenix this past weekend to enjoy a real gunshow and OC'd the entire time I was there, for the first time I felt free and accepted into the gun culture (not that I didn't when I resided in Houston)

I will be donating more if this cause is still going in September, but for now I must save for my trip to Houston next week.

Inspire.

Eric, right? Glad to have you on board. I pray for your speedy return to the lone-star.
Thanks man! I appreciate it. I'll actually be flying in August 6th for about 2 weeks. If I can get my hands on a good case, I'll be bringing my AR and pistols so I'll shoot you a PM (=

I was just wondering if anyone is going to give any more to the fund now that we've reached $5,000.Seems like we've gone stagnant at $5650.I'm going to send another c-note.We need to keep going. This billboard is going to cost $1500 a month to keep up through the legislative session. Mike is also looking at cabs and buses. We need to get this on the minds of the politicians and keep it there till they go home after this session. Send $5, or $10, hell send $1. Whatever you can afford. I know times are tight, but if everyone on this site sendsa littleevery month, or everyweek if you can,It will go a long way towards the passing of this legislation. We need all to help a little. Come on guys,we can do this, dig deep. If you want this to pass, it's going to take MONEY. It always has and always will. There is no free lunch. Thanks for your time.

Any update on what's going on with the Billboard?

Has a contractor and location been determined?

Any narrowing down of what will be on the billboard?
it should be up soon, on I-35, somewhere between 6th St. and the Alamo!
