Sorry I couldn't make it guys. I'll keep checking over here to see when you go out again, I'd like to meet up with some like minded folks. It'stoo bad they asked you to leave your gun in the truck, and funny he only noticed one person carrying.

What I also find funny is that the manager told Luke to put the gun in his truck. Luke doesnt own a truck. He drives a subaru. Its interesting to see the sterotypes people have.

Hey, to you new guys, looks like there are a few more of us in Pullman now. I'm sending you a pm with my phone number. There are three of us right now who OC around Pullman a lot. Just for exposure we'll go down town and get coffee or all of us will go get groceries at the same time. If you want to get together for lunch or dinner we can do that pretty easy most nights (depending on homework). I dont know what people are doing this weekend seeing as how its Moms weekend here, but I plan to go out and OC as much as I can. Figure it should be interesting.

Awesome, just got your PM. As for this weekend, I'm working at a restaurant, so you can guess the nights start early and end late on Mom's weekend.

Still surprised I haven't seen anyone OCing around town.

Give us the name of where you work and we'll fix that. :celebrate

Kevin and I have been OCing a lot around town and it's been so uneventful that we haven't been posting. I think that it's about time that we catch everybody up are activities. Kevin, you want to do the honors?

Haha good luck getting a table tonight! It's gonna be a zoo. Sadly, I wouldn't see you anyway because I work in the kitchen.

I would still like to know where you work so that way we can make random appearances, if you are not intrested in posting it feel free to send a PM. Although I don't eat out often I think exceptions can be made. And I am sure the others feel the same way.

Well, I work at the Fireside Grill. Although only for a couple more weeks because I'm going home for the summer soon.

We had an OC get-together today in Pullman and it went off great. We parked downtown and walked a few blocks to Quiznos. I waited outside while everyone else went inside because I was finishing up a phone call. When I entered I noticed that somebody had already started a conversation with Kevin about us carrying. I walked up and took over talking to him so that Kevin could order. I explained that we were normal citizens that normally carried concealed but due to recent events, have been carrying openly more and more to bring a general awareness to the public that it's never the firearm that's the problem, it's the person that had access to it. He agreed with me and said that that made perfect sense and loved getting one of the pamphlets. We talked for about 5 minutes with several other customers listening in. Very good talk and everybody involved was very pleased with what we were doing.

I then ordered my sandwich and at the register had one of the workers comment that everybody seemed to be carrying pistols. I repeated the same speech about who we were and why we were doing it and handed him a pamphlet as well. He looked through it, asked me several questions about gun laws concerning concealed carry (he owned a pistol) and thanked me for being so helpful. He stated that he supported what we were doing and loved that the pamphlet had everything that he needed in one place. While this was going on there were several employees listening in. Nobody seemed nervous and everybody seemed very interested in what I had to say and were nodding there heads in agreement.

Afterwards, we snapped a picture of the four of us who were carrying (there were 5 of us total). I think it's important that we start posting more pictures of us out and about when OCing both to encourage new members and to put a face on us so that the general public can see that we're just average people who care about our rights and freedoms.

EDIT: We really looked happier than this walking around town, it's just that the sun was in our face when the picture was taken

Ahh damn.!!! Too bad I didn't know you guys were getting together. Today would have been a perfect day to take a drive out of town. I've been so bored all day that I actually started cleaning out the garage!!

Do you guys still want to plan something for this coming Saturday in Spokane?

I find it kind of ironic for somebody who's feeling uneasy about you open carrying to actually say something about it. I mean if they really were afraid of you, would they want to confront you and let you know that they're afraid of you.....or even tell the manager and use the manager as a proxy?

If they are afraid of you, why tell you? Furthermore, what if asking you to leave made you upset? Isn't that the last thing they would want?

I was OC at Fireside on Friday around 6pm with my roommates mom and dad, although she wasn't too excited about it, there were few if any reactions. Most of the patrons merely looked and became fixated, that is if they were able to pull themselves out of their own little worlds.
