I'm running against Shirley Ringo. She is a rabid anti-gun Democrat. She has voted against every pro-gun legislation that has been proposed in the Idaho House. She is also anti-freedom. She voted against the Idaho free choice act. This act would exempted Idaho citizens from the federal health care bill being debated in the US Congress right now. For those of you who work at the University of Idaho, she also voted to cut the University of Idaho's budget.

I am looking for all the support I can get. If you live here locally, I could use your signature on my petition to run against her. I need to collect 50 signatures of registered voters in Latah County. I need to have all of these signatures by the middle of the week as I believe I have to get this down to the Secretary of State by Friday. So please reply to this post or private message me. Thank you for any help.

For those of you who know where I live, feel free to stop by and sign my petition. I will be home until high noon. Today Saturday, February 27.

Good luck, if I was a voter in ID I would vote for ya!

I'm still pretty new to the site but definitely plan on OCing in WA as soon as I'm 21. Still haven't gone over to Moscow and OCd yet but I really should. Also, I work at Dissmore's, all of you are more than welcome to come on in and shoot the $h!t when I'm there (please do, it gets agonizing there haha). I'm the guy who wears the camo Cougs hat. Anyway, fight the good fight, and I'll definitely be making my presence better known in 73 days (magical birthday)!

I've only been to Dissmore's twice, but have had positive OC experiences both times.

Good luck and we will have to get together in 70+ days and celebrate!:celebrate

I just want to let people know that this weekend, Sunday, March 21, is the Latah County Lincoln days lunch. It starts at noon. Cost is $30 per person, $10 for kids. There'll be a silent auction, most of our local, state, and national candidates will be there. For instance, the governor will be there. I'm looking forward to any of open carriers being there and keep an eye out for me. Its at the best Western in Moscow. That's right across the street from WINCO.

Open carried to the vet today (Alpine Animal Hospital). No one said a word until after the shots (kitty shots, not gun shots). I bent down to pick up my kitten who decided to explore room and the vet noticed it. She was surprised and said the sheriff was in and now me. Asked what I did and all that jazz. I think I open carried last time I was there, but the holster/gun probably blended in with my black jacket.

Good luck tomorrow David.

I'm not too up on the current happenings around here (shame shame) but how'd it go for wookie? And by the way, birthday was a couple weeks ago and I've been OCing around town and up in Spokane (all positive experiences so far, nobody has said a thing) and waiting for my CPL to come in the mail so I can carry in my vehicle. It's such a pain in the rear trying to drive places when I want to OC! Anyway, I think it's time we had an OC get together for those that are still in the area!

I keep thinking the weather will get better so we can do something in the park. For now, where would people like to meet? Lets plan on the 17 or the 18 of June for a dinner.

BTW I lost by 105 votes.

Anyone still OC in town?

I notice that it has been over a year since someone has posted on this thread and was wondering if the practice was dead now or if people just sort of stopped once Dave left town. I plan on starting up the practice again and am on my way to Wal-Mart here shortly; just needed to check up and see how things have been in the area since I started my sabbatical. Hope to see some more posts on this thread here soon.

I left Pullman in May but OC'd to most of the places I went to around Pullman (Walmart, Safeway, Dissmores, Man Shop, Other haircut place near where Blockbuster was, and quite a few restaurants). No comments or any thing that I noticed.

CC and OC in Pullman

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum but not CCing or OCing. I'm a Realtor here in town and generally conceal carry for purposes of just keeping things on the down low most of the time. I definitely CC at the office when the situation dictates; mostly in fall and winter when I'm wearing sweatshirts and such. I do OC from time-to-time and have not had any issues with it. Generally you'll find the majority of small business owners and private sector types are conservative and will not bat an eye at an open carry.
