Where did you carry today and how did it go?

Hobby Lobby on Stephanie - not a problem...

Walmart on Marks - As usual - fine...had to spend a while there waiting for them to change my truck's oil...one guy came up behind me at one point and I kind of saw him coming so I stopped and turned...he wanted to ask me if he needed a permit to do "that". I told him anyone who could legally own a gun could carry openly without a permit but if he wanted to conceal he would needs permit to conceal. He said, "I thought that's what I had heard, but my wife was like naaaah, he's probably a cop or something!" Interesting but positive encounter.

Lowes on Marks - been there several times and as usual had no problem. When we were leaving the theft prevention beepers were going off even after they scanned our item...the young lady was like, "Maybe it's your gun!" I kind of chuckled at that...does she think its a metal detector?

Galleria Mall - spent about two hours following my wife around. With no issues or odd behavior in any of the stores, which included: JCPenny, Victorias Secret, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Express, 21...and...I can't remember any others.

The District - Spent about an hour there walking around and some more shopping in several of their stores...no problem.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering how the district would treat OCing. Do not remember anyone reporting on it.

I reported carrying there a few weeks back as well, during the car show - lots of people there that night. I don't know about the District officially being carry "friendly" but I certainly haven't had issues the few times I have been.

Cicis on Cheyenne again LOL. It was pretty crowded so we got a TON of looks. I was at the pizza buffet line and this young girl had her eyes locked onto my gun. Heard a few whispered comments from people saying things like, "wow do you see that?'' and "do you think she can use that thing?" That last comment almost made me laugh as I walked by their table as I thought to myself...why yes I can use it but I'd rather not have to show you how well I can. All in all it was a great visit as usual.

I've reported the above post as anti-OC thread-crapping. This guy is new, and takes every opportunity to post anti-OC. He is not in Nevada, either.

Please click on the "report post" button that looks like a black triangle with an exclamation point. Thank you.

Inside the waistband. It went as well as every other day.

Scotty. In Minnesota, one must have a permit to carry a weapon. You just applied for one on 09-25-12, and the process usually takes up to 30 days before a permit is issued. I certainly hope you are not engaging in an illegal activity by carrying a weapon without a permit. I don't believe we're under any obligation to support illegal activities Scotty.

Carried out and about today no one noticed as far as i could tell, even the kids that are at holster height.

Question though, is UPS off limits?

I wrote a letter to tire works on monday or tuesday and still have yet to hear back from them

I wrote one to the mayor weeks ago simply asking on what authority does Metro forbid oc in city parks. Of course no reply.

I know, not really a part of your post, but I had said I'd update on the mayor letter and your post reminded me.

Shiny badge authority.

What? You don't have one?

Like I always say, no matter how "civilized" we think we are, might is right....unfortunately. And that is why we MUST push back.

starbucks on rancho near bonanza. As expected, no issues there. I was there selling something on Craigslist. I chose the location because it was a high value item and starbucks is open carry friendly. The good news is that I did not acquire any new stalkers and I didn't receive any bogus bills. :p

Today on my bi-weekly trip to Murray's inside meadows mall and doing some shopping for my sons birthday, i was done shopping and sitting in the chair security came into the shop and told the owner Chris that I must leave as I can not have my gun with me he asked if I can finish my haircut the replied no that i must leave now this was my first time experiencing this.

Also went to Toy's R Us next to Meadows no problems there then off to CiCi's on Cheyenne no problems there also.

Any suggestions on how i should've handled that situation?
