How do we harness that energy?
In my opinion, and to, kind of, parallel the Free Staters...
-Start getting groups together who want to work towards a goal, such as "constitutional carry".
-Rally the people, get them excited and interested in reaching this goal.
-Then, get more people to join the cause.
-Start getting people who want the same goal to "infiltrate" the political scene, as in getting like minded people into city counsel all the way up to the state house.
-Vote, or some how, get the people who oppose the goal out of their political chair/office.
-Use activism every chance you get to send the message to the representatives of what the people want. Congregate outside of courthouses, the statehouse, and everything in between. I'm talking multiple times a week.
-Congregate, congregate, congregate. Meet often, all over the state, to rally the people so they don't become complacent.
We're back at step one, here in SC. In 2011, it seemed we were about to achieve the goal of getting constitutional carry. Then, the bill was amended to hell and back to be pretty anti-liberty by a, supposedly, "pro-gun rights" guy. Then our gun rights group operations was ordered by court to cease all operations. Now the bill is dead, and the NRA has taken charge, supposedly, without giving any info on how they are rewriting it. So, a few people, and myself, are trying to get groups together to brainstorm and rally.
