I agree. I like the Serpa mount better. I already have one Serpa and the quick connects, but I will probably buy another Serpa to use for this exclusively. I don't like how much it stands off when mounted on a belt with the quick connects on it.

Here's mine. I can simply move the holster and gun from my belt to my dash, or thigh rig without taking out the gun. It's from Blade-Tech.

I have an old cheapo Walmart style nylon holster I was considering rigging up. The belt clip bracket is just a bent piece of metal that goes through loops on the holster. I was thinking about screwing the belt clip bracket right to the dash somewhere then slide the holster back on it. Presto a $8 car holster...can put one in every vehicle. It even has the thumb break on it.

Drove my Dad's Lincoln on a road trip this weekend and found the perfect carry spot built into his seats. Each front seat has an expandable pocket on the front of the seat beneath the driver or passengers legs. I plan on installing similar pockets in my truck and car. Wont matter what gun I am carrying that day, it will fit nicely in this pocket. Just thought I would pass this along. Never see a pocket there before. Works for left or right handed.

i've been jiggling this around for awhile, and came to this conclusion; mounting somethin in the ride is ok, but then it's more handling. i run doors locked, and since i am heavily invested in the nylon market, it's 'scool, when i'm on the shoulder, as far as get and go quick. on the hip the cheap nylon holster usually cocks, and manipulates pretty good that i can get the butt to stick up between the seat belt crosses to where i can get quick. so i'm tight in my machine, and ready. guess it's good i dont got money for fancy holsters.

*! what the hell is this?! i saw different colored words on my post- seat belt, i clicked on it and it friquin took me to ebay. what the hell?! i'll wipe my posts if they start to become used as damn commercials!
