I ran into someone open carrying at Meijers today, and in our conversation he stated he did not have a CPL. My local Meijers sells alcohol. Is he breaking the law? I thought according to this chart, you can not carry a gun on any establishment licensed by the Michigan liquor act. Unless you have a CPL or have the owners permission. Which he argued he did not have or need because alcohol is not Meijers main source of sales. I wish I would of had this chart today.
If they did NOT have a CPL, you are correct, he was breaking the law...! I hope whoever it was finds this post and does not do it again, they could get seriously jammed up! :0
That's what I thought even suggested this site to him and he said he knows what he needs to know. Geez..
How about change federal bank to "federal reserve bank"?
Yer absolutely right Stainless, they can do that bein a private corporation an'all, that is their right. (not that I ever will find myself needin to be wanderin into any building labeled "federal reserve bank") So, It's not on my top ten list of concerns for today.420 huh,? I like it.
They could still invoke private property rights.
