My Texas license plate reads...

"TAP3X" with the caption underneath "Fight Terrorism"

Stay Safe, Train Safe...

That was when American Bandstand was still being shown in black & white wasn't it? :D

If I remember correctly, there's a VCU LEO whose POV's plates read "SIG9MM" (I used to park in the same deck).

I used to have a '93 Chevy Blazer with the license plate: 762X51. I had a bracked around it that read: ".308 Holes Leave Invisible Souls". I can't tell you how many people came up to me and asked: "What's 762-times-51 and why do you have a multiplication problem on your license plate?" I couldn't believe how truly ignorant some people really are!!

Thta is funny, however, I can understnad that some people just don't know what 7.62x51 is. They'd probably understand 308 WIN though.

And I'm sure they'd usually get 762MMFMJ, at least I'd hope most adults have seen Full Metal Jacket.

So far I like all the input. One of the reasons why I started this thread was to get ideas for what to change my plates to. Here's what will be coming in the mail in the near future :)

I lived in NoVa for 15 years. There are more vanity plates per capita in NoVa than in any other area of the country. Being a Graphic Designer, I'm naturally intrigued by words and type, and "decoding" vanity plates became an entertaining way to wile away the hours spent in Beltway rush-hour traffic. I got pretty good at it after a while...

This would be a good one for NC residents:

GATTDOTP

(Going Armed To The Defense Of The Public)

And this one is possible for NC, because on a stock NC Vanity Plate, we can use 8 characters (one of the few states that allows more than 7)

NOTE: I don't have this one. My personal plate IS a vanity plate, but it has to do with my occupation, NOT a 2A theme...
