Kourt (sic) grants de facto 14 day extension. 14/60

Please stop, it just shows your ignorance. It's not cute or clever either.:uhoh:

The Latin adverb sic erat scriptum, usually abbreviated "sic", added immediately after a quoted word or phrase (or a longer piece of text), indicates that the quotation has been transcribed exactly as found in the original source, complete with any erroneous spelling or other nonstandard presentation.

It's the way it should be written ********. But since I'm the only one who gets it I'll just write kourt instead and ignore those say I've mispelled it.

Ah, the perfect trifecta: Ignorant, uneducated, and childish!

I refuse to believe that you've never seen sic used to show the writer understands that he mispelled a word even if that's not correct in formal essays. As to your other point (unspoken) I don't have respect for the kourt or its proceedings. Government monopolistic kourts are often wrong as they will likely be in Norman. The highest kourt in this land once said black people were not human.

See 'self siccing'

Perhaps you should read material outside of the law library, DH. Ignorant of common idioms (whatever self siccing is), not as educated as he wants others to believe, and a DH. No way to go through life.

Metapedia sets its focus on topics that usually are not covered in — i.e. that falls outside of — mainstream encyclopedias.
Ah, that explains a lot. Just reinforces my previous evaluation.:uhoh:

Have to do something to keep the Fl section lively, not all of us get to post OC stories like in Virginia :(

Still, you're right.

I am in Alabama and never get to post because they just are not affraid of the idea of an open carried gun.
I carry openly everwhere all day everyday and never get so much as a funny look. So I never get to post anything exciting .
But at the same time its nice to be able to carry as I choose.

If OC with a license were to become legal as a result of this case or legislation, I'm sure certain urban jurisdictions would provide us with a lot of entertainment, at least at first, real criminals being scary and a pain to catch in the act.

77zak (sic) Sorry said:
If and when its "allowed" I expect a couple people to get their mortgages paid off in the first couple weeks until the police departments realize OC'ing is not PC, and that its against someone's civil rights and liberties to arrest them for simply showing their lead dispenser.

Weeks!?

I can think of a number of jurisdiction's that will never 'accept' it and will screw up and arrest people for years and years!

Kourt gives the enemy until 10/9 and warns them that failure to provide an answer by then could result in the state not being able to participate in the appeal. All in all they were given about half a year to throw some crap together.

Below is the contact information for AG Pam Bondi, almost assuredly a waste of time, but encourage her to forfeit anyway. She is lusting after higher office, but she's also a nannying statist, which could possibly hurt her run as a republican. Doing the honest thing on Norman could give her a lot more cred.

Just what does the following mean "in reality", not court reality, but real people reality?

"ORDERED that appellee's motion filed August 22, 2013, for extension of time is granted,
and appellee shall serve the answer brief within thirty (30) days from the date of the entry
of this order. In addition, appellee is notified that the failure to serve the brief
within the time provided herein may foreclose appellee's right to file a brief
or otherwise participate in this appeal. "

The court "split the baby" on the state's request for a 60 day extension and made it clear that no more extensions will be granted. AG Bondi must file their brief by 10/9/2013 or the court will move forward without input from the State.

You mean 10/9? What was the "really good reason" they were granted another 45 day stay?

It seems Bondi ran pro-2nd, but everything she has done in office has been anti-2nd.

Another RINO ?

She should just 'fess-up' and go Progressive Democrat.

Its what she really is.
