Sorry, I decided an uninformed 'no-vote' was better than going 'eenie meenie minee moe'. I promise to become better aware of the candidates, and their beliefs, before election time.*

Sure I know that, but why is the guy with the fewer votes marked as a win?

Governor: One wins for the Democratic Candidate in the Primary Election, One wins for the Republican Candidate in the Primary Election, they both square off in November 2010 General Election and either win or go home.

Calhoun County had 12-15% voter turnout, they expected 20%

We get the government we deserve.

Ever wonder why elections are held on Tuesdays when most people are working or taking care of their families? This is why- So "they" make sure we get the clownish Gov. "they" think we deserve. Who are they? Do some research, look at how our country has changed for the worse in many ways over the last 35+ years and it starts to get clear. God bless us all! We need all the help we can get.

BULL Elections have always been held on weekdays. If people want to participate they will. And with the easy absentee ballot system they could request a ballot on the phone or internet and send it in and never have to leave the house or there work place.

NOPE the problem is apathy not the day the election is!!!
