Not sure the OP is stating that we all should be responsible, overtly, but that, as a CCer, he and other CCers, are in a better position to be available to assist others if the need arises. But, when I CC I am not any different than those around me, apparently unarmed, vulnerable, and a likely easy target.

I prefer to think that any citizen in relatively close proximity to me gains the benefit of my OCed firearm as a result of criminals passing me by and thus passing them by.

CCers leave me with the impression that they are itching to bust a cap into a BG. Certainly the OP leaves me with this impression.

I do not Open Carry where it is illegal or where my situational awareness is impaired, like movie theaters or concerts where there is continual close contact with other participants, and where seating is tight such as amphitheaters, sporting events, race tracks.

I would not Open Carry In high crime areas. A lion would not walk into a den of hyenas and I would never Open Carry in the high crime neighborhoods of Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit or Washington DC. I never want to challenge a criminal’s area of dominion; that task is for law enforcement officers.

No it doesn't destroy what everyone has been saying. From that same site it says that only 40% will target someone else if they "think" the person is armed. A properly CCing person isn't going to appear to have a weapon and thus the statistic doesn't apply to them. But even if it did apply it is still less than the percentage that would apply to an OCer.

How is it opinion based, it gives a cite for every fact listed. Thus unless a CCer carries in a way that hints that they are carrying, the numbers don't apply. Likewise, if the bad guy doesn't see the OCer's gun then the numbers don't apply to him.

The only conceivable way that one's carry method could indicate whether one is "ok with people killing,raping and robing kids" is if the carry method determines the frequency with which bad guys are killed.

Based on this, I offer the following tentative translation:

"I carry for the primary purpose of being able to shoot bad guys. You do not. Therefore you are dangerous and are part of the criminal element and believe in their cause."

There are 2 kinds of Cobblestone walls, the original cobblestone walls, and the Mossy Cobblestone Wall. Each crafted the same way, but using Moss Stone instead of Cobblestone or vice versa.
