Where do you see that he didn't have a permit? I did not read that my man.
Sorry eye95, et al., do your own research as now LEs are discussing hate crime charges stemming from the MLK day incident.
[here eye95, a boon: quote City of Miami Police confirmed to 7News that Bartlett was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. Unquote https://wsvn.com/news/local/man-arr...-yelling-racial-slur-at-cyclists-in-brickell/ ]

Gee-wiz I didn't know that, NOT.....That's not the case. As has been covered in the FLA forum many, many time, there are activities in that state where OC is protected. I was camping there just this past weekend in Navarre and OCed the entire time.

snippppp
Were THEY charged? Last time I checked, about six months ago, it's illegal to block the flow of traffic in ALL 50 of these United States. So... Were they charged? If not, why WEREN'T they charged? After all, the PRECIPITATED the incident.
Snippp...
This from the guy who literally said, “Do your own research.”
That being said, and while the guidelines do tell us to cite to authority, I personally don’t care that he did not (and suspect that few others do either). If such behavior is not illegal in any State, it should be. The Rights of many people to travel are being denied, and that is the sole excuse for ceding authority to government: to keep us from trampling on each other’s Rights.
Also, st [sic] some point, “prosecutorial discretion” becomes “blatant disregard for lawbreaking”. The local cops not breaking up this activity has clearly crossed that line.

So since9’s question is valid and still looms: “Were they charged?”
