As Paul Harvey says, "and now for the rest of the story". This happened right in front of a coworkers house. The coworker trims trees and sells firewood to earn extra money. He was loading fire wood into is pickup truck to deliver to someone when a car stopped down the street. There were teenagers in the street in front of his house within 15 feet of him that were fired at by an occupant of the car got out walked to the front of the car and started shooting. One teen was hit in the leg and as he crawled to the curb the guy got back into the car and headed toward my coworker. Another teen that had been in the street ran in the direction of the coworker and almost ran into him. As the car passed by the guy fired 2 more shots at the other teen with bullets wizzing by the coworker. He ran into his house to get a towel to use on the teens wound and said there had been chunks of flesh blown away. He said there was so much bloodhe thought he was going to bleed out. The coworker said that the incident was over a girl.

I think that the REAL problem with these shootings is not guns, not drugs, not drinking, no mental disorders.....it's WOMEN.

Why are women always the problem? :)

In regards to the story I think it's sad that someone lacks so much self confidence that they feel they must result to murder over a girl...or a guy. Life goes on. If you have any confidence in yourself you would realize that and move on. As much good as it would have done to have been able to defend yourself against these loser kids....the story would still sound bad. It would still be teenagers shooting each other over a girl.

HAMPTON - Police have released the identity of a man wanted for shooting a 19-year-old in the leg in Hampton this week.

Warrants are on file for Wayne Thomas Brisco, Jr., 22, with a last known address of Bancroft Drive in Hampton, for maiming, attempted maiming, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police spokeswoman Cpl. Allison Good said a vehicle pulled up and stopped in the middle of Kensington Road at 6:20 p.m. on Monday.

A passenger got out and fired several shots at a group of people, hitting a 19-year-old in the leg. He left the area in a 1989 blue Ford Escort with a maroon hood. Good said the victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
