haha. fear based. the numbers game wins. CCers stop way more crimes and put more bad guys in jail which in turn makes society a better place.

And you know this how? There is no possible way to know how many criminals decided not to commit a crime because of an OC'er. Yet there is a ton of anecdotal experience and stories that it may have.

More people CC = more crime is stopped by CC. It does not follow that CCers stop more crimes per capita than do OCers, and of course this is the operative datum.

Exactly some people just can't grasp ratio, like those who will claim the 11% collateral damage by cops compared to the 2% by civilians is because cops shoot more bad guys.

Lastly, and maybe most importantly, I'll offer a refutation of your premise that "ccrs put more in jail". I know a lot of guys who happen to OC everyday for minimum 8hrs a day. They happen to make quite a few arrests on any given day and even occasionally "stop" real bad guys. They happen to literally and physically place them in jail. At least the absolute very vast majority of them are all carrying the same way. With their polymer or steel gun in a level III retention holster on a funny looking bat belt that has other gadgets on them.

So if you can somehow say that you put more guys in jail then I do or have with me OCing and you CCing then I'll be impressed. :D

This is a good point. One I must remember when I argue with CC only cops.

Now, wait just a second here, Marshaul - you, of all people, should know that in order for someone to retain it, they must have had some degree of credibility to begin with. We can all plainly see that that's not the case with this poster...

Some have mentioned the frequency of his threads being locked, and the inevitability of this thread succumbing to the same fate. Personally, I feel his threads bring a refreshing degree of comedy to an otherwise very serious forum, and I look forward to more unsupported drivel being buried under an avalanche of truth! I must admit, it brightens my day every time I read his wishful thinking that defies all logic, because I know it will be followed by others calmly posting common-sense rebuttals.

It's hard to disagree with you. I find this poster incredibly hilarious.

Heck, he has the honor of being the first individual to end up in my sig line. Hard to beat that!

Agreed I hope he keeps posting it is very entertaining.

this is the image i see when i think of some of the people here.

So says the guy has some famous quotes... "I can draw just as fast or faster from concealment....."

"Take some retention classes!! Then let's go at it and have 4 dudes jump on you and try to get the blue gun"

And my personal favorite....

"Ccers put more bad guys in jail then ocers".

A mall is feeling awfully unprotected right now...

Note: above quotes are paraphrased from memory. Didn't deem it worth the effort of rooting around for exact quotes. I've made my point....

Sorry to disappoint you, but you are clearly so far from reality. Not surprising though.

I'm on my phone, so someone please go to gunfacts.info and get the actual cite about how 60% of interviewed felons admitted to not targeting someone if they knew they were armed. That directly shows how OCing prevents crime.

Now if they decide to target someone else, that isn't my concern and that person should do something to be able to defend themself from crime (like carry a gun) instead of relying on others. My goal is to go home safely, and OCing gives me better chances of that over CCing since I'm less likely to be targeted in the first place.

No need to do the OP's work for him. He is being tedious at this point, and reenforcing his status as troll.

According to the OP we should be responsible for others who are not responsible.

yes someone posted on here before i believe. dpesnt state on word about OC. but the criminal does say how its scary not knowing who has a gun, and that the next person they will rob will have a gun. which destroys everyones argument about that video and OC. the felon himself stated basically what i have been saying.
