Never seen anyone OCing here in western Wisconsin. There is actually a sign saying guns welcome in the window of a tobacco shop dowtown but he isnt Constitutional carry. Believe there should be licences. Soon as I have the money i'm going to either Wiebke or Gander Mountain if I can't find a local person and get myself something cheap. May not keep it for long but just to carry and get used to it and get those in my area used to it for starters.

You'll run into one of us sooner or later. Don't worry, you're not alone. :)

Good for you!

We need LOTS MORE PEOPLE out there OC-ing so we have lots more D&E* going on! That can't be accomplished by CC-ers as no one SEES them carrying. Of course, CC-ers LIKE it that way, but the downside is because no one notices, there's no D&E. And no conversations about carrying, the 2nd Amendment/RKBA, state laws on carrying (and so on) ever get started, either.

I think OC-ers get the Big Picture of all this much better than CC-ers, who tend to be very narrowly-focused ("introverted" if you will) -- and don't get OC at all. So we need to let them know WHY we do it (a good number of reasons, 2 of which are D&E). If you know any CC-ers, try to educate them so at the very worst they'll be neutral about it, rather than hostile to it as many (if not most) CC-ers are. We don't need THAT working against us!

OC-ing helps us ALL out there, even CC-ers...whether they realize it or not.

*D&E = Densitizing & Educating
