I carry an Imez Makarov in 9x18 with two extra mags and one of the Bear Grylls edition Gerber knives. I load out with 95gr Hornady Critical Defense.

I'm thinking about picking up something in either a 45 ACP or 357mag. I love my Mak, but I wouldn't mind having something a little bit beefier.

I daily carry either my S&W 329PD, Glock 37 or 38 (yes, I'm a GAPer!) or the S&W Gunsite "Commander".

Each has it's own "snap" holster (Alessi CQC-S style). Spare mag in pocket pouch, or speed strips for the wheel gun.

The big N-frame is the easiest to conceal, by a good margin, when I am forced to go that route.

Ruger SR9C carried OC in a Blackhawk (thumb break) or in a Whitehat Max Tuk on those more 'formal' occasions.

I carry a Ruger LCR (very light 5 shot .38+P).

I used to own a Glock 19 Gen 2 15 round capacity but I always found it too bulky to carry, so I didn't carry it. I remember reading a quote "a caliber in the hand is always better than a caliber in the drawer" so I decided to go looking for something smaller.

The LCR is so small and light and fits in any pocket and no one knows I carry it.

Before OC in Oklahoma I carried a Taurus 617 357 snub. When we went to OC I started carrying a S&W SW9VE in a Blackhack Serpa . Then I switched just a couple of months ago to a Glock 30SF .45 ACP in a Blackhack Serpa. I carry open 99% of the time. Even if some of the local city cops call me Yosemite Sam ( as long as they don't harass me ) .

Glock 26 in a serpa, usually OC in the summertime, or with a jacket over it when the weather cools down.

Baretta model 21 stuffed into a pocket when I want to be discreet somewhere.

There's my everyday carry, minus the knife. The P226 I carry in a Serpas and the P938 I carry in an ankle holster.

I carry
  • Walther PPQ, 9mm, currently in a Desantis Thumb Break pancake, but very soon in a Blade-Tech OWB paddle.
  • Walther PPS, 9mm, in a Comp-tac ITAC paddle (when I might switch between OC and CC)
  • Fällkniven PXLmm (thinking about getting a Spyderco Paramilitary II)
  • Inova T3, to be replaced by an Apollo AP-1 in October
In Texas, I also always carried a Fällkniven F1mm (no longer made), but Washington knife laws are pretty dumb. Like Texas handgun laws.

75 ftw!

CZ 75B, i-Tac Defence roto holster or Galco 1911 holster (Best fit I could find) and I wouldn't trade my CZ for the world! 3 Pounds of glorius Czechnology.

Indeed, they seem to be a well kept secret. I've both OCed and CCed mine. Bought the matching .40 a few months ago (they ought to denote the caliber in the model number, e.g., CZ-75/9, but they don't) and I am coming to the conclusion I had better stick to the 9.

I notice you skipped the -BD decocker, which for some reason the marketing types seem to think is an improvement. (uh... wrong!) When I do see CZs for sale it seems most of them are BDs now. What's up with that?
