From the WashPost. There are any number of inacurate descriptions, and lot's of nonsense. Here is one phrase that make no sense - "...a private dealer sells weapons at a gun show". <Is there such a designation as Private Dealer?>

..."Had Cho been denied at a gun store, he said, he could have easily gone to a gun show and bought a gun without question out of the trunk of a private dealer's car." <But he didn't>

..."But they point to other tragedies such as the wounding of Reagan White House aide James Brady"... <Hey, the DC gun ban was already in effect since1976>

Del. Ken Cuccinelli(R-Fairfax) had some good quotes as did Del. Terry Kilgore(R-Scott) and Sen. Edwards (D-Roanoke)
..."Sen. John S. Edwards (D-Roanoke), whose district includes Virginia Tech, called gun control "a Northern Virginia issue" and said that neither Republicans nor legislators from more rural parts of the state would support a change despite lobbying by the families. "It's a cultural issue in this area of Virginia," he said. "You've got to be sensitive to the cultural values."

I've wasted a lot of money going to gun shows looking for a good deal from these private dealers, but I can't ever find any more than the guy with the sandwich board and old-used deer rifle. What gives?!?

Can I sue the brady bunch for false advertising? :lol:

Here we have moresymbolism knee jerk reactions overgetting out thereal facts on guns. Gun control typesoften holdcandles and sing "we shall overcome" then soon comes the blame togetthose evil guns off the street. Yep..worked great in DC and Maryland didn't it? Nowwe have the same mindset coming from some ofour State leaders.It's very important to let our State delegates and senators know that we will not foolishly sit by and letour cherished rights be slowly peeled away. Before you know it we will be just like Europe,as in morepower to government officials and reduced rights for individuals.

So they're holding gunshows in parking garages? I've never been to a gun show where there were people selling out of the trunks of cars...:uhoh:



And for the last time, there's no such thing as "private" or "unlicenced" dealers!!! They're called Private Sellers, and it's no different than selling a car or other propertyto someone instead of trading it in at a dealership!!!!
