I agree with Rand Paul in that spending needs to be cut and it needs to happen very quickly. No Child Left Behind was passed over 11 years ago and still we have not closed the education gaps, after billions of dollars spent. Programs with money wasted and no results should be programs de-funded. I would take Education out of the federal government's hands because their education agenda does not represent the agenda of the American people and I would place the responsibility for educating our children in the hands of the state, the community, the neighborhood, and the family units. I would get STEM education and agricultural curriculum available to schools, and families and encourage and support families who chose to stay at home with their kids and home school. The federal government dropped the ball with education, and they don't deserve to have that responsibility anymore, in my opinion.
Firstly, in regards to the italicized portion of the quote; How I mine for grammar lolololol. Big U.K. education, still can't use a thesaurus, or, I dunno, run a page by a English professor or English Major. It's okay, I wouldn't expect any candidate to actually care about taking pride in themselves, or their 'education'.
Hmm, take Education from the Federal Government, and place it in the bonds of State Government! SURE! Why not. Because as we all know well, State governments are safer, and more readily able to be changed by the populace, than the Federal government. [Sarcasm.] So, put education in the hands of the communities, neighborhoods, and family units, eh? I suppose you never heard of, or been to a County, or City school board, right? They sorta have this thing, where elected school board officials make big decisions in regards to funding local schools, and what will or will not be taught in the school district, as well as handle reviews and audits of the school system as is. Now, I personally have not been to a public school before, I was home schooled up to mid-'junior high', where I transferred to a private school that had a really good J/ROTC program, which I really loved; Point being, all that I know of the school board, is what I've seen in person when I considered running for a position within, to try and beat out my IDIOT neighbor who moved in from California, and literally considers his one-cow fenced in back yard to be a 'farm'. Yea, one of THOSE people.
So, Agricultural curriculum is not already in our school system? Hmm, I suppose the 4H club in every county school district is just an imaginary object, which school-aged kids happen to get into at their own decisions, or the decisions of the family.
Honestly, the Federal Government didn't drop the ball on the topic of Education. STATES dropped the ball, County and local school boards dropped the ball. Do you seriously think the US is barely even in the top 20, out of 168 or so countries, because the Federal government just said "Screw it, kids can teach themselves."
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/civil-liberties.html
I agree with Rand Paul 100%. What we are going through right now in our day in time with our government would have been a walk in the park for our founding fathers and without flinching they would have held all accountable who are tying to destroy our Constitution right now. If we want to know what it will take to fight back and preserve our freedom, then all we have to do is look at the long list of injustices, injuries, and usurpations our founding fathers faced as is recorded in the Declaration of Independence. It is almost as if our enemies are moving down that list using it as a guideline on how to enslave us. We must look at that list again and realize that our forefathers found a way to break free and that way is our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our Civil Liberties not just for the King, or Queen or wealthy elite but for all United States citizens who take the oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic.
Oh, okay then, well, I guess those of us United States citizens who DIDN'T JOIN THE MILITARY, BECAME COPS, or GOT ELECTED TO OFFICE are just Sh*t outta luck when it comes to civil liberties, since freedom only applies to people who took an oath of affirmation to protect and defend the Constitution. Last time I checked, no one had to take such an oath when they popped out of a womb, before they could be a citizen. Rights and freedoms are inherent, and inalienable. No citizen has to take an oath of office, or affirm their defense of any document, to enjoy the fullest extent of the freedoms, and rights outlined, and not specifically mentioned in, the supreme law of the land. But, I suppose that's just another Republican ideal, isn't it, suck-up to the military, cops, and other politicians, but toss salt at us lowly civilians.
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/debt--spending.html
Absolutely agree that we need to immediately cut the deficit, and continue to do it until we get back on track. I haven't seen the plan he's introduced yet, to balance the federal budget in 5 years. I would need to see that to get a better understanding of the details but I do agree with the overall agenda.
Who's plan? What are you even talking about here? You start off with an incomplete sentence, and make it so vague that an English teacher would pull each of their eye brow hairs out, by just reading your statement! Okay, so you agree that we should cut the deficit. That's fine and dandy. HOW are you planning on accomplishing this feat of strength? Are you going to raise taxes? Will you cut our asinine Defense budget? And which of your political rivals are you referring to, whom has a '5 year plan'? I guess we the voters are too stupid, and insignificant to get a straight answer from the great Goddess herself, she'll probably send one of her aides to come blind us with amazingly useless facts and talk for twenty minutes about everything, and anything under the sun, EXCEPT 'Debt & Spending'.
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/education.html
I agree with Rand Paul. No one can deny the statistics that show all the money being put into the education budget is not getting positive results as reflected in standardized test scores. Our kids can't compete with their international peers and it's getting progressively worse with each year.
What statistics? Whom gave out these statistics? Why do you make incomplete sentences, and use vague wording in your campaign comments? You assume that voters automatically know what exactly you're talking about, and know precisely the exact statistics and sources you use and gleaned information from! But, it's okay, because you agree with Rand Paul on a lot of your issues. As if that's supposed to say "Hey! Look at me! I agree with Ran Paul, so I don't have to put any effort into my own campaign, and making known my side of the equation, or what my solutions are! Yay me! I get a cookie for being just like every other Libertarian-esqe Republican.
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/energy.html
I agree with Rand Paul. I would add that it almost looks like they are tying to get Americans so economically devastated that they lose their good credit ratings, lose their homes, lose their jobs, lose their hope in America, and ultimately their future ability to get financing due to their hardships, and little by little, the cities will go under, the states will go under and guess who will be there with the money to buy it all up? Not only that, but because they are trying to keep the states from using the energy each state can generate themselves, for example, Kentuckians use coal, then those resources will be saved in the ground or preserved, ready to go for the new owners of our county, down the road. The new owners who plotted for many years to run our economy into the ground so that they could plunder on its loss.
Oh, glad to know that you agree with Rand Paul, once again. Italicized part is a run-on sentence, and makes my aspirations to one day become a English teacher melt, and makes him sad, and makes me want to cry, and makes us all die a little on the inside, and do you like how I use so many commas in a single sentence yet? The word you was looking for, in the bold portion, is 'trying'. Once more, who are 'they'?
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/federal-reserve-transparency--the-big-banks.html
Too big of a page to quote. Although it's good to see you really have a lot in common with Rand Paul. Are you his intern? Too many logical errors. My brain needs beer and tea now.
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/foreign-policy--national-defense.html
First off. Dude... I don't have no where near the college education, and courses you purportedly have, but for the love of all of humanity, go sign up for a English 097 course, it'll work WONDERS on your spelling, grammar, and sentence structure. I feel like I'm reading from a nine year old's diary. Making yourself out to be someone who agrees with Rand Paul on nearly every issue. Hey, it's okay, some people HAVE to ride on anothers coat-tails to get anywhere in life. Well, they don't have to, because they could actually TRY to be their OWN self-thinking human being. But I've learned in the 25 years I've been on this planet; Humans are social, and communal mammals. We all try to be like everyone else, because to be seen as an outcast by the majority means a troubled, and very rough life ahead.
So, if you went to war, you would go after the criminals involved in it? Really. That's some profoundly new wartime doctrine right there. You should look into a job with the military. 20-thousand years of humans fighting amongst themselves, and we've never really thought about going after the bad guys during a war! I mean, yea the Nazis was bad during WWII, but maybe we shouldn't have let every single one of them go, maybe we should have had some sort of war-crimes tribunal, to judge the criminals and war mongers involved that started the war, and mete out a fair punishment for them!
I take it back, I don't feel like I'm reading from a nine year old's diary. I feel like I'm reading a nine year old's show and tell paper on why we should fight wars declared on us, and maybe why we should be the aggressors from time to time.
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/health-care.html
Update: I was asked by a reporter today, 1/28/2014, if I felt that the Affordable Care Act should be repealed. I told him, no, because I feel that American citizens should be able to have affordable health care. I want affordable health care, but parts of the Affordable Care Act are not affordable, and they are not helping Kentucky families, but are causing harm to families. We need to make sure that this law is not allowed to harm our citizens.
Are you sure you're running on the right party platform? In case you didn't know, the Republicans REALLY HATE the ACA law. You're going to lose votes on that one. Although Kudos for saying how you really feel about the law. Oh, wait.
I agree with Rand Paul in that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) ("Obamacare") is unconstitutional.
Achievement get: First Campaign issue flip-flop. 10G.
You don't think the ACA should be repealed, but feel only some of the things and parts within it should be changed. Yet, you agree that the ACA is unconstitutional. Make up your mind, are you for it, but don't really give a darn if it's unconstitutional or not? Or do you feel it's a necessary evil, because the alternative of relying on greedy companies to insure their employees, and the use of Medicare/Medicaid is inherently flawed in every sense of the term?
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/immigration.html
I absolutely agree with Rand Paul on securing our borders. People who come here illegally are breaking our laws. We are a country whose security is dependent on laws, on our Constitution and if individuals think they can break those laws, then they are not understanding what American citizenship is all about. Why are they letting illegals in, any one of them could be an enemy who has plans to harm us. This is one of the times, I throw my hands up in the air, and say, "What the hell are you thinking!"
You really enjoy paying lip-service to Rand's political base, don't ya? Also, People who enter the United States
illegally are breaking our laws? Whoa! My mind is totally blown now, I never would have imagined anyone who did something illegal, was also breaking a law! I really have to thank you immensely for clearing that up, and shedding some light on my blissful ignorance.
Seriously though, wow! You're really ...unique.
Question though, with the heavy burden of cost that it takes for someone to legally immigrate into the United States, paying for a visiting visa, getting a work visa, and finding a job, earning the money and making life work for a few years so you can learn and educate yourself about a foreign country, so you can take it's citizenship tests, and blend in. Which of course can take upwards of ten years, and cost tens of thousands of dollars to accomplish, how would you handle that? Would you lower the cost in time and money to become a legal U.S. resident? Would you send the Military to the borders? What, and how would you feel about a legal U.S. resident that suddenly strapped a bomb on their chest and vaporized 12 people in Mt. Sterling's police department? They entered the U.S. legally, and took all the tests, and spent the time to educate themselves, and act and talk American, just to commit a harmful act anyway. Would you still make it harder for a Mexican family who are oppressed by their corrupt Mexican government, broke, not a peso to their name, trying to go to the El Norte, where people talk of freedom and liberty, and cross deadly deserts, and rivers, to make it through a hole in a fence? How come it was perfectly fine and dandy for -White- immigrants to illegally come to the USA on ships, and trains, but when brown people do it, it's cause for alarm? You should read over the history of why America has always been called the "melting pot".

http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/lgbt.html
What is your obsession with the "sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America form all enemies, foreign and domestic"? I really get the impression that you just like to kiss-arse to people in office, cops, and the military because you really dislike Americans in general who never swore such an oath. In my lifetime, Barring ROTC, I never swore such an oath. And the oath I took in ROTC died the day I was removed from the program because of my sexuality. Hey, in case you didn't know, and I have to make it clear once again, THERE IS NO OATH REQUIRED BY A NATURAL BORN U.S. CITIZEN TO EXERCISE, AND ENJOY THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES LAID OUT IN THE CONSTITUTION!
Oh, glad to know you really know and understand the First Amendment so well! Except for one thing... the 1st Amendment guarantees your right to freedom of religion, so, ya know, if you're gonna quote the Bill of Rights, at least don't do it half-heartedly. There are also words written to protect other facets of free speech, free press, and freedom to peaceably assemble.
Our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our Oath of Allegiance, has provided freedom for United States citizens for 237 years and it will continue to provide freedom for each and every United States citizen as long as we protect it.
I'm gonna call you Ms. Broken Record. WHAT IS THIS OATH OF ALLEGIANCE?! I never took an Oath of Allegiance. Hell, I never said the 'pledge of allegiance'. I suppose that makes me un-American, Anti-American, or some-how unworthy of the rights and freedoms that I enjoy today.
Also, no, your bone throwing to the LGBT community does not, in any way, shape, or form, redeem you of your mistakes, and illogical rhetoric so far.
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/regulations.html
I agree with Rand Paul. Transparency exposes corruption.
Transparency in WHAT? Hey, another nod to Rand Paul.
I'm skipping over the other issues, because I'm about to go over my character limit.
http://www.kentuckyisnotforsale.com/veterans.html
I love the military and I will always try and do something special on the farm to help our military families, even if it is just getting them plants and seeds to start a vegetable garden. I think plants are very therapeutic and our military families go through a lot. It helps to have a garden, a place where you can watch life grow. The Kentucky Proud program supports our military with a very cool and very sweet logo designed just for them, it says, "Homegrown by Heroes". I love this and when I go to the farms this next year, I will make sure and visit the farms that are using this logo, because I want to include in the K-12 curriculum, a strong support for our military and our military families, past, present and future. We need to be there for our veterans, because they were and are still there for us.
Honey, you need to just come out of the closet, your 'love' of the military jets past anything remotely near what a normal person should feel, and straight into the fetish-zone. You started the second sentence, and the rest of the comment, about how you think plants and gardening is good for military veterants, and make K-12 school curriculum teach kids to show strong support for the military,a nd military families.
F*** the military, the veterans, and the families of veterans and active-duty military personnel. They get PLENTY of damned benefits, and services, and private grants/loans, and the unending admiration of People who would gladly become a Veteran's personal sex slave because they love the military so much. We don't need to be there, or here, or anywhere for our service veterans. There are federal, and state laws that make Veterans a protected class that cannot be legally discriminated against, or refused employment, or housing, because of their status with the military. And they CHOSE to VOLUNTEER to go get trained to KILL and HARM other human beings. But, Gays want the same protection, and it's immoral, and wrong, and needs to be shunned and such! Veterans are trained to live a life of the bare minimal, fighting and killing everyone they see as a threat, and living off rice and bear sh*t if they have to. They are trained to use Close-Quarters hand-to-hand combat, they are trained to kill effectively and silently with knives, and are trained to shoot the wings off a fly at 200 yards. AND Yet they still need special status, and protecting in the work place?!
